Crumar BURN Rotary Speaker Simulator for Guitar and Keyboard

Product Overview

The Crumar BURN is a versatile rotary speaker simulator designed for both guitar and keyboard instruments. It aims to replicate the characteristic sound of a vintage rotary speaker system.

Connections

HEADPHONES STEREO OUT: Connect your headphone set here. Do not use this plug to connect your instrument to a mixer, another effect, or an amplifier.

STEREO OUT L & R (Unbalanced): Connect your amplification system here. The rotary speaker simulation is stereo, so connecting to a stereo system offers the best experience.

SYSTEM CONNECTOR: This is a service connector. DO NOT PLUG ANYTHING HERE!

MONO AUDIO INPUT (Unbalanced): Connect your source instrument here. Ensure the correct input gain is selected to prevent unwanted distortion.

ONE-CORD TO INSTRUMENT CONNECTOR: An exclusive CRUMAR connector with special functions. If your CRUMAR instrument has a connector labeled «ONE-CORD TO FX», you can connect the two instruments with a single cable, replacing both audio and power cords. THIS IS NOT AN ETHERNET CONNECTION!

POWER SUPPLY INPUT: The BURN is compatible with common 9-volt power supply units for guitar effects with a negative center. A separate PSU is not needed when the BURN is connected to a main instrument using the «ONE-CORD» connection.

TRS JACK INPUT: Connect the optional CRUMAR halfmoon selector here (Code: HMS-20-BK).

Controls and Indicators

BYPASS LED: This RGB LED indicates when the effect is active (on) or in bypass mode (off). It can display different colors.

INPUT GAIN SELECTOR: Use this switch to select the correct input gain. Set to LOW for line-level input (keyboard) or HIGH for passive instruments (guitar). [Use a toothpick to gently flip the switch].

BYPASS FOOTSWITCH: Used to completely bypass the effect. Holding this switch down before applying power to the BURN allows switching between two modes:

SPEED FOOTSWITCH: Used to switch between slow and fast speed. Holding this switch down will «stop» the effect. Holding it down before applying power to the BURN allows switching between two modes for the Speed LED:

SPEED LED: This RGB LED flashes according to the current speed. It can display different colors.
