Audible Alarm On/Off switchable ECO ECO Mode On/Off switchable Backlight Screen Backlight Switchable between 100% and 5% brightness 03 Operation Button Definitions ECO Light 03 BUTTONS DESCRIPTION Press once to turn the ECO mode on or off. When ECO mode is on, both the backlight and alarm light are turned off. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the device on or off. Press once to change the backlight brightness to its 100% or 5%. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the WiFi function. Press twice quickly to turn off the WiFi function. Press once to switch the temperature unit between Celsius and Fahrenheit. (The default setting is .) Press twice quickly to enter the setting of AQI/CO2/PM2.5 alarm values and CO2 auto calibration function. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the AQI alarm light on or off. Press twice quickly to enter the time and date setting. Press once to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format time display. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the audible alarm on or off. Note: When the device is powered off, place it in a well-ventilated place, then press and hold both the ECO and SET buttons simultan -eously, the device will enter the CO2 calibration mode, which takes 200 seconds. During the CO2 calibration, please make sure that no one comes near the device to affect the calibration result. 04 04 Operation Instructions 4.1 Power On/Off Press and hold the ECO button for 2 seconds to turn the device on or off. 4.2 Set Time & Date Step 1: Press the button twice quickly to enter the time setting, the month number will flash. Step 2: Press the or button to increase or decrease the number, then press the SET button to confirm. Step 3: The day number will flash. Press the or button to increase or decrease the number, then press the SET button to confirm. Step 4: The hour number will flash. Press the or button to increase or decrease the number, then press the SET button to confirm. Step 5: The minute number will flash. Press the or button to increase or decrease the number, then press the SET button to confirm. 4.3 Set AQI / CO2 / PM2.5 Alarm Values and CO2 Auto Calibration Step 1: Press the SET button twice quickly to enter the alarm setting, the AQI alarm value will flash. Step 2: Press the or button to increase or decrease the number and press the SET button to confirm. Step 3: After setting the AQI alarm value, the CO2 alarm value will flash. Press the or button to increase or decrease the number and press the SET button to confirm. Step 4: After setting the CO2 alarm value, it will enter the setting of CO2 auto-calibration. The character C-OF (CO2 calibration off) or C-ON (CO2 calibration on) will flash. Press the or button to switch the CO2 auto-calibration function on or off, then press the SET button to confirm. 05 Please note that the ON or OF character will pause for 2 seconds during setting, this is a normal phenomenon. Please be patient and wait for it to flash. Step 5: The PM2.5 alarm value will flash. Press the or button to increase or decrease the number and press the SET button to confirm. 4.4 WiFi Function On/Off Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn on the WiFi function. Press the button twice quickly to turn off the WiFi function. When the WiFi function is on, press and hold the button for 2 seconds to reset the WiFi connection. 4.5 ECO Mode (when the ECO light is on) 1. After operating the device, the sensor will detect in real time within 5 minutes; 2. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the sensor will detect once every 15 minutes; 3. After 1 hour of inactivity, the sensor will detect once every 1 hour; 4. If any operation or out-of-range data has occurred, the sensor will revert to state 1.When the ECO mode is off (the ECO light is off), the sensor detects data in real time. Note: If there is no operation for 30 seconds, the unit will automatically save the setting and exit. 05 APP Installation & Connection 5.1 Search the INKBIRD App from Google Play or App Store to get it for free, or you can scan the QR code below to download it directly. 06 NOTE 1. Your iOS devices must be running iOS 12.0 or above to download the app smoothly. 2. Your android devices must be running android 7.1 or above to download the app smoothly. 3. The device supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router only. 4. APP Location Permission Requirement: We need to obtain your location information to discover and add nearby devices. INKBIRD promises to keep your location information strictly confidential. And your location information will only be used for the location function of the App and will not be collected, used, or disclosed to any third party. Your privacy is very important to us. We will abide by relevant laws and regulations and take reasonable security measures to protect your information security. 5.2 Registration Step 1: Registering an account is necessary before using the INKBIRD app for the first time. Step 2: Open the app, select your Country/Region, and a verification code will be sent to you. Step 3: Enter the verification code to confirm your identity, and the registration is complete. 5.3 How To Connect Step 1: Turn on both the Bluetooth and WiFi functions on your smartphone. Step 2: Open the INKBIRD app and click "+" on the top right corner to add the device. Then, follow the app instructions to complete the connection. 07 Note: 1. Make sure that the device is placed as close to the smartphone and router as possible during the connection process. 2. All data exported from the application can only be in Celsius. 06 FCC Requirement Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. 08 This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator & your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. 07 Customer Service This item carries a 1-year warranty against defects in either components or workmanship. During this period, products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of INKBIRD, be either repaired or replaced without charge.
