Put the glass in the protective cover, align the light fixture screw hole, tighten the screw.
CAUTION:When installing the glass, align the three screws with the sponge mat in the three glass slots and tighten the screws.Otherwise, you may damage the glass.
CAUTION-RISK OF FIRE
USE MAX. 5W TYPE E12 C35 LED BULB 120V 60Hz Please use dimmable bulbs when you want to use the dimmable function.
Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling.
Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage the motor or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a light application of shoe polish.
You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings.
Always unplug the fan before cleaning, disassembly or servicing.
Transmitter Functions
Install the 9V battery. (The product does not contain batteries and you can buy it online or offline.)(see figure 9)
Attention:To
Restore power to ceiling fan and test for proper operation.
The fan remote control controls the fan setting(see figure 10):
OFF:Turn off the ceiling fan.
HI:Turn on the fan at high speed.
MED:Turn on the fan at medium speed.
LOW:Turn on the fan at low speed.
LIGHT ON/OFF:Press and release immediately to turn on or off the light.
DIMMER:Press and hold to dim or brighten lights to the desired level and release.(Note: Please use dimmable bulbs to use the dimmable function.)

Forward and Reverse Direction Function
This ceiling fan is equipped with reverse switch for downward or upward air flow.(see figure 12)
To change direction, turn off the fan and wait for the blades to stop rotatingbefore setting the switch to the desired rotation direction, either forward orreverse.
Forward Function
On this setting, the fan will turn counter-clockwise to create a cooling effect.
Use this function during warmer weather to circulate the hot air away from your living space.
Reverse Function
On this setting, the fan will turn clockwise. Use thisfunction during cooler weather to re-circulate warm air. (see figure 13)
If you have difficulty operating your new ceiling fan it may be the result of incorrect assembly, installation,or wiring. In some cases these installation errors may be mistaken for defects. If you experience any faults please check this troubleshooting guide.
Problem | Suggested Remedy | |
1 | If fan does not start. | o Check the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers. o Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing. o Check the battery in the remote control. o Ensure you are in the normal range of 10-20 feet. |
2 | If fan sounds noisy. | o Ensure all motor housing screws are snug. o Ensure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight. o Ensure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing. o Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time. o If you are using the Ceiling Fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight. Check that the light bulbs are also secure. o Ensure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling. o Ensure your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet box. |
3 | If fan wobbles. | o Check that all blades are screwed firmly into blade holders. o Check that all blade holders are tightened securely to motor. o Make sure that canopy and mounting bracket are tightened securely to ceiling junction box and junction box is mounted firmly to ceiling joist. o Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal.Check this level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades keeping measure within 1/8 in.Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement.Repeat for each blade.lf all blade levels are not equal you can adjust blade levels by the following procedure. To adjust a blade tip down insert a washer(not supplied)between the blade and blade holder at the screw closest to the motor. To adjust a blade tip up insert washer(not supplied)between the blade and blade holder at the two screws farthest from the motor. o If blade wobble is still noticeable interchanging two adjacent (side by side)blades can redistribute the weight and possibly result in smoother operation. |
4 | If light does not work. | o Check blue wire from fan to make sure it is connected to hot wire from the house. o Check for loose or disconnected wires in fan switch housing. o Check for loose or disconnected wires in light kit. o Check for faulty light bulbs. CAUTION: Make sure main power is turned off before entering switch housing. 0 If the fan light shuts off shortly after being switched on it may be due to excessive current demand.Turn off power to the fan and replace the light bulbs with lower wattage bulbs.Turn on power to the fan using the pull chain, wall switch,or remote control (whichever is installed on the particular fan). |
