Does the stand conceal the power cable for the Bose Virtually Invisible 300 speakers?
Yes! It does conceal the power cable and it feeds through under the platform stand and it goes up the metal tube through a channel behind that tube.

Yes, you can move it anywhere you want to in order to find out the best sound possible for your room
Can you use this with non-Bose speakers? Is the threading on the bolt compatible with regular small speakers?
Bose UTS-20 Series II Universal Table Stands are specifically engineered for use with Bose products, we’d recommend reaching out to your speaker manufacturer for compatible speaker stands
Will these work for acoustimass 3 series iv speakers?
We use it for CineMate GS Series II speakers.
How many pieces per order?
Is only one speaker stand per package. It includes the square rounded base and the narrow tube that holds the speakers and like one screws to put it together and that is it.

Not familiar with all Bose speakers, but, they fit my Acoustimass 6 speakers (which I believe are standard design)

Yes, I purchased the UTS-20 Series II stands directly from Bose at the same time I ordered the Soundtouch 520.

Yes it is. Also looks very good in my home setup.
