INSTALATION

• Apply for the Caller ID service
  For your caller ID display unit to function, you may be apply the local post office for the caller ID service, or the phone would not be realize the caller ID function.
• Installation
  – Open the battery cover on back of the unit.
  – Insert two batteries LR03 1,5V type AAA ( batteries are not included in the unit ) according to assign direction.
  – Close the battery cover.
  – Using the curve cord to connect telephone with handset.
  – Using the cord line to connect the telephone with JACK of the telephone corporation.
  – After installation the LC display will be active

Receiving and dialing a call

To dial a number: pick up a handset, and dial a number.
Caller timer is displayed 10 seconds after the call is connected. When you finish a call, place the handset on the base cradle to disconnect.
Receiving a call: the phone will ring up when it receives a calling signal.

Setting menu

On hook, press [SET], press [UP] or [DOWN] to select the setting menu.

• SET 1 DATEOn-hook status, press SET, LCD shows „SET 1 DATE”, press once again [SET] to confirm. The cursor of year twinkle. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to adjust year and confirm with [SET]. Do the same during setting month, day, hour and minutes, always confirm with [SET].
• SET 2 CODE- set the local area code
  When „SET 2 CODE” will be show in the LCD, press [SET].
  The „CODE——” will be shown in the LCD, and the 1st cursor is twinkling. Press UP and DOWN to select the local area code. Press SET to confirm.
• SET 3 LCODE
  It is not active.
• SET 4 AUTO IP
  This function doesn’t work in this phone set..
• SET 5 ALAR
  This function doesn’t work in this phone set.
• RINGER switch
  You can use the RINGER switch on back of the unit LO- the lowest ring volume, HI – the highest ring volume
• PULSE/TONE switch
  In accordance with the DIALLING MOOD of the local TELECOM bureau, you can choose the right position ( T-TONE or P-PULSE ) by switching P/T SWITCH P – pulse dial mode T – tone dial mode

Extra functions.

• Caller identifier ( CLIP function )
  Working only if subscribed with network operator.
  You should contact with your operator.
  If the function is active, KXT 100 can display the caller number. If you don’t answer the call, the calling number and hour will be saved and you have a possibility to check who was calling.
  The phone can store automatically the last 40 calls.
• Reviewing incoming calling numbers
  Press UP and DOWN button to search upwardly or downwardly the latest calling number and date.
  Press against the button for over 4 seconds to search rapidly.
  Press [DEL] to delete phone number in reviewing mode.
• Callback function
  If you want to choose the number from list of incoming calls, pick up the handset and press [UP] or [DOWN].
  To dial the number, press [REDIAL] to access.
• REDIAL Function
  When you got a busy line, press FLASH and then [REDIAL] button to redial your last call
• HOLD Function ( Music on hold )
  When you are talking with the handset and you want the caller waiting a moment, press [HOLD], and the phone send out the waiting music for the caller automatically, and you may put handset on base. If you want to come back to talk with the caller you have two possibilities:
  – pick up the handset to talk again, the music will be broken and you may talk
  – if you don’t put the handset on base, press again [HOLD] button, the music will be broken and you may continuing the call.
• LOCK
  The unit provided toll call protection, the users can set the lock to different color point. (the key back point to )
  – Red: any call can be dialed out
  – Green: telephone number headed with „0” cannot be dialed out, it means you can’t make a toll call in this case
  – Yellow: any call can’t be dialed out.
• FLASH button
  Off hook, if you press FLASH key, the line will be disconnected for some time and then be in the dialing situation for your dialing a new number or redialing the last number you dialed.
