The RAFECIEE Smart Fingerprint Door Lock combines convenience with robust security, featuring biometric fingerprint recognition, a digital keypad, IC card access, traditional mechanical keys, and Tuya Bluetooth APP control. It is designed for easy integration into standard US wooden doors.

3. Installation Guide
The RAFECIEE Smart Fingerprint Door Lock is designed for easy installation without the need for drilling or complex wiring. A screwdriver is typically the only tool required.
3.1 Door Compatibility
Ensure your door meets the following specifications:
- Backset: 2-3/8 inches (60mm) or 2-1/8 inches (70mm)
- Door Thickness: 1-1/8 inches (28mm) to 2-1/8 inches (54mm)
- Door Hole Diameter: Approximately 2.12 inches (54mm)
The lock is compatible with both left-swing and right-swing doors.

3.2 Step-by-Step Installation
- Prepare the Door: Ensure the door is properly prepped according to the compatibility requirements. If replacing an existing lock, remove the old hardware.
- Install the Latch: Insert the latch mechanism into the door edge. Ensure the latch bolt faces the correct direction for your door swing. Secure with screws.
- Install Exterior Handle: Route the cable from the exterior handle through the door hole and align the spindle with the latch mechanism.
- Install Interior Handle: Connect the cable from the exterior handle to the interior handle. Align the interior handle with the spindle and secure both handles to the door using the provided mounting screws.
- Install Batteries: Open the battery cover on the interior handle and insert 4x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Test Operation: Before closing the door, test the mechanical key and the handle's movement to ensure smooth operation.

4. Operating Instructions
Your RAFECIEE Smart Fingerprint Door Lock offers five convenient ways to unlock.
4.1 Unlocking Methods
- Biometric Fingerprint: Place your registered fingerprint on the sensor for quick access. The lock features a 0.2-second recognition speed and supports up to 50 fingerprints.
- Digital Password: Enter your programmed digital code on the backlit keypad. Supports up to 50 passwords.
- IC Card: Tap the provided IC card on the designated area of the lock.
- Mechanical Key: Use the traditional mechanical key as a backup or primary unlocking method.
- Tuya Bluetooth APP: Control and manage your lock remotely via the Tuya Bluetooth APP on your smartphone.

4.2 Tuya Bluetooth APP Management
The Tuya Bluetooth APP provides comprehensive control over your smart lock:
- Remote Access: Manage access permissions from anywhere.
- Password Generation: Create permanent, temporary, or scheduled passwords for family, guests, or service providers.
- Passage Mode: Activate Passage Mode to keep the door unlocked for extended periods, useful during gatherings.
- Entry Logs: View a record of who enters and exits, providing enhanced security monitoring.

4.3 Security Features
The lock incorporates several security features for your peace of mind:
- Auto-Lock: The door automatically locks after a customizable time period (5-179 seconds) once closed. This feature can be configured via the APP.
- Anti-Peep Password: Enter random digits before or after your actual password to prevent others from guessing your code. The lock will recognize the correct sequence within the longer input.
- Inside Lock: Provides an additional layer of privacy and security when you are inside.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your smart door lock.
5.1 Battery Management
The lock is powered by 4x AAA batteries. Under normal usage (approximately 10 unlocks per day), the batteries can last up to 12 months.
- Low Power Alerts: The lock will provide low-power alerts via the APP and on the keypad when batteries are running low. Replace batteries promptly.
- Emergency Power: In case of complete battery depletion, an emergency Type-C power port is available on the exterior handle. Connect a portable power bank to temporarily power the lock and gain access.

5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
