5. Installation Guide

5.1 Mounting the Awning Frame

6. Operating Instructions

Your vidaXL Electric Retractable Awning offers both electric and manual operation.

6.1 Electric Operation (Remote Control)

  1. Power On: Ensure the solar panel is connected and charging the internal battery.
  2. Extend Awning: Press the UP button on the remote control to extend the awning.
  3. Retract Awning: Press the DOWN button on the remote control to retract the awning.
  4. Stop: Press the STOP (circle) button to halt the awning at any desired position.

6.2 Manual Operation (Hand Crank)

In case of power failure or a lost remote control, the awning can be operated manually.

  1. Locate Crank Hook: Find the hook for the hand crank, usually located on the side of the awning motor.
  2. Insert Crank: Insert the hand crank into the hook.
  3. Extend/Retract: Turn the crank clockwise to extend the awning and counter-clockwise to retract it.
