6.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the treadmill before cleaning.
- Wipe down the console and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Vacuum under the treadmill regularly to prevent dust and debris from accumulating.
6.2 Running Belt Lubrication
Proper lubrication of the running belt is crucial for smooth operation and to prevent wear on the motor and belt.
- Frequency: Lubricate the belt every 3-6 months, or after every 50 hours of use, depending on usage.
- Procedure:
- Unplug the treadmill.
- Loosen the rear roller bolts slightly to allow access under the belt (do not remove them).
- Apply 100% silicone lubricant (not included) in a Z-pattern under the center of the running belt.
- Tighten the rear roller bolts to their original tension.
- Plug in the treadmill and run it at a slow speed (e.g., 2 MPH) for 5 minutes to distribute the lubricant.
6.3 Running Belt Adjustment
The running belt may shift or become loose over time. Adjust as needed.
- Centering the Belt: If the belt drifts to one side, use the provided Allen wrench to turn the corresponding rear roller bolt a quarter turn clockwise (if belt drifts left, turn right bolt clockwise; if belt drifts right, turn left bolt clockwise). Run the treadmill for 1-2 minutes and re-check. Repeat until centered.
- Tightening the Belt: If the belt slips during use, turn both rear roller bolts a quarter turn clockwise. Run the treadmill for 1-2 minutes and re-check. Repeat until the slipping stops. Do not overtighten.
