2. Safety Information
Your safety and the safety of others are paramount. Always follow these safety guidelines:
- Assembly: Always assemble with at least 2-3 adults. Ensure all parts are correctly aligned and securely fastened before use.
- Anchoring: Securely anchor the gazebo to the ground using appropriate hardware to prevent wind uplift.
- Weather Conditions: While designed for heavy snow loads and strong winds, extreme weather conditions may require additional precautions. Clear heavy snow accumulation from the roof promptly. In severe storms, consider temporarily removing curtains and netting.
- Fire Hazard: Keep all heat sources, including barbecues, fire pits, and heaters, away from the gazebo structure and fabric components.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the gazebo for loose connections, damaged parts, or wear. Replace damaged components immediately.

3. Package Contents
The SierraSquad 12x16 FT Hardtop Gazebo is shipped in multiple reinforced boxes. Please verify all components are present and undamaged before beginning assembly. A detailed parts list is included in the packaging. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.
Typical components include:
- Aluminum frame posts and beams
- Galvanized steel roof panels
- Mosquito netting panels
- Privacy curtains
- Assembly hardware (bolts, screws, washers, nuts)
- Tools for assembly (basic wrenches, hex keys)
4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly typically requires 2-3 people and takes approximately 6 hours. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included in your package. Ensure you have adequate space and all necessary tools before starting.
- Unpack and Organize: Carefully unpack all boxes and lay out components. Group similar parts together and verify against the parts list.
- Assemble Frame: Begin by assembling the main aluminum frame structure. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten bolts until the entire frame is upright and squared.
- Install Roof Panels: Attach the galvanized steel roof panels according to the instructions. The double-top design allows for ventilation.
- Attach Curtains and Netting: Install the dual-track system for the mosquito netting and privacy curtains. Hang the netting and curtains as directed.
- Final Tightening and Anchoring: Once the gazebo is fully assembled and squared, tighten all bolts. Securely anchor the gazebo to your patio, deck, or ground using the provided anchoring hardware.
Note: 95% of holes are pre-drilled. Only 5% self-tapping screws are required for maximum water tightness.

5. Operation
Your gazebo is designed for versatile outdoor use. Here’s how to operate its key features:
- Mosquito Netting: The high-density mesh netting is designed to keep insects out while allowing airflow. Use the zippers to open and close the netting as needed.
- Privacy Curtains: The UV-resistant privacy curtains can be drawn for shade, privacy, or protection from light wind. They operate on a dual-track system, allowing independent movement from the netting.
- Roof Hooks: The roof structure includes multifunctional hooks. These can be used to hang various items such as lights or small decorative elements. Ensure any hung items do not exceed the weight capacity of the hooks.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your gazebo.
- Cleaning Frame: The aluminum frame features a 3-layer anti-rust and anti-corrosion coating. Clean with a mild soap solution and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning Roof: The galvanized steel roof can be cleaned with a soft brush and water to remove debris, leaves, or dirt.
- Cleaning Fabrics: The mosquito netting and privacy curtains can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. For deeper cleaning, they may be removed and hand washed. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching to prevent mildew.
- Seasonal Checks: Before and after seasons with harsh weather, inspect all bolts and connections for tightness. Re-tighten as necessary. Check for any signs of wear or damage to the roof panels or frame.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your gazebo, refer to these common solutions:
- Gazebo feels unstable: Ensure all frame bolts are fully tightened. Verify that the gazebo is securely anchored to the ground. Check for level ground.
- Water leakage from roof: Confirm all roof panels are correctly installed and overlapping as per assembly instructions. Check for any gaps or loose screws on the roof.
- Curtains/Netting not moving smoothly: Inspect the dual-track system for obstructions or debris. Ensure the tracks are clean and free of kinks.
- Difficulty with assembly: Refer back to the detailed assembly guide. Ensure you have the correct parts for each step. Contact customer support if you are stuck on a specific step.
