This child seat is designed for quick and easy installation on most rear-seat bicycles. Please ensure your bicycle has a compatible rear frame (rack) before proceeding. The rear frame is not included.
4.1 Compatibility Check
The child seat requires a rear bicycle rack for mounting. Ensure your rack meets the following criteria:
- The rack length should be not less than 13.8 inches (35 cm).
- The rack width should be up to 7.48 inches (19 cm).
- The rack must be sturdy enough to support the combined weight of the child seat and your child (up to 55 lbs / 25 kg).

4.2 Installation Steps
- Prepare the Bicycle: Ensure your bicycle is stable, preferably on a kickstand or held by another person.
- Attach Mounting Base: Position the child seat's mounting base onto your bicycle's rear frame. Align the mounting holes with the appropriate slots on your rack.
- Secure with Hardware: Use the provided screws, nuts, and bolts to firmly attach the mounting base to the rear frame. Refer to Figure 4.1 for visual guidance on different installation methods for the base plate.
- Mount the Seat: Once the base is secure, attach the child seat to the mounting base. Ensure it clicks or locks into place if applicable.
- Final Check: Double-check all connections. Gently shake the seat to ensure it is stable and does not wobble. All screws must be tightly fastened.
NOTE: For safety reasons, please tighten all screws and double-check them before riding. Check and torque each screw at regular intervals.
