Safety Information
WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Always wear appropriate safety gear, including gloves and eye protection, during assembly.
- Ensure the assembly area is clear of obstructions and children.
- Do not attempt to assemble the shed alone. A minimum of 3 people is recommended for safe and efficient assembly.
- Exercise caution when handling metal panels, as edges may be sharp.
- Secure all parts properly as instructed to prevent structural instability.
- Do not climb on the shed roof or walls.
- Ensure the shed is anchored securely to the ground to prevent wind damage.
- Keep all packaging materials away from children.
Parts List
Before beginning assembly, verify that all parts are present and undamaged. Refer to the included parts diagram (typically found in the physical manual) to identify each component. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support immediately.
The shed is typically divided into multiple packages, which may arrive at different times. Please ensure all packages have been received before starting assembly.

Figure 2: Product Dimensions. This diagram illustrates the overall dimensions of the shed, including its length, width, and height, along with the dimensions of the door opening and windows. Note that the floor is not included, and a foundation is recommended.
Setup and Assembly
Assembly of this storage shed requires careful attention to detail and adherence to the following steps. It is recommended to have at least three people for assembly, which typically takes about 7 hours, though this may vary based on skill level.
1. Foundation Preparation
A stable and level foundation is crucial for the structural integrity and longevity of your shed. It is recommended to build a foundation measuring approximately 11.6x11.3 FT. Options include a concrete slab, a treated timber frame, or a gravel base.
- Ensure the chosen site is level and well-drained.
- Clear the area of any debris, rocks, or vegetation.
- Construct your preferred foundation type, ensuring it is square and level.
2. Base Frame Assembly
Assemble the base frame of the shed according to the diagrams in your physical manual. Ensure all corner brackets and support beams are securely fastened.

Figure 3: Product Details. This image highlights key structural components such as roof reinforcement steel, L-shaped floor spikes for anchoring, galvanized metal steel panels, reinforced plastic connectors, and plastic sleeves, all contributing to the shed's durability.
3. Wall Panel Installation
Attach the galvanized steel wall panels to the base frame. Start from one corner and work your way around, ensuring panels overlap correctly and are secured with the provided fasteners. Pay attention to the placement of panels for the main storage area and the open firewood bay.

Figure 5: Spacious Interior. An aerial view of the shed's interior, illustrating the generous storage capacity and potential for organizing various items like tools, bikes, and other garden equipment.
4. Door and Window Installation
Install the sliding doors into their tracks. Ensure they operate smoothly. Attach the two 4-pane windows to their designated openings. These windows are designed to provide natural light and ventilation.

Figure 6: Sliding Doors and Ramp. This image highlights the smooth-sliding door mechanism and the integrated ramp, designed for effortless movement of heavy or wheeled items into and out of the shed.
5. Roof Assembly
Assemble the roof panels and attach them to the top frame. Ensure all roof reinforcement steel is correctly installed for structural stability and weather resistance. Secure the roof panels tightly to prevent leaks.

Figure 7: Weather-Resistant Construction. This image details the robust construction of the shed, including roof reinforcement steel, L-shaped floor spikes for ground anchoring, and the use of galvanized metal steel for enhanced durability against weather elements.
6. Final Checks and Anchoring
Once assembly is complete, double-check all fasteners to ensure they are tight. Secure the shed to your foundation using the L-shaped floor spikes or other appropriate anchoring methods to prevent movement during high winds.
Operating Instructions
1. Using the Sliding Doors
The shed features smooth-sliding doors. To open, gently push the door along its track. To close, pull the door until it meets the frame. Ensure the doors are fully closed and, if applicable, locked to secure your stored items.

Figure 8: Convenient Sliding Doors. This diagram illustrates the push-and-pull operation of the sliding doors, emphasizing their ease of use and the integrated ramp for convenient access.
2. Ventilation
The shed is equipped with two 4-pane windows and built-in vents at the front and rear. These features promote airflow and natural light, reducing dampness and odors. Ensure vents are not obstructed to maintain proper air circulation.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help preserve the appearance and functionality of your AMERLIFE storage shed.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the shed with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the galvanized coating.
- Rust Prevention: Although made of galvanized steel, inspect the shed annually for any signs of rust, especially around fasteners or areas where the coating might be scratched. Touch up any affected areas with rust-inhibiting paint.
- Door Tracks: Keep the sliding door tracks clean and free of debris to ensure smooth operation. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if needed.
- Anchoring: Periodically check the ground anchors to ensure they remain secure, especially after strong winds.
- Ventilation: Ensure the vents are clear of obstructions (e.g., leaves, dirt) to maintain proper airflow.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Doors stick or do not slide smoothly. | Debris in tracks, misaligned doors, lack of lubrication. | Clean tracks thoroughly. Check door alignment and adjust if necessary. Apply silicone lubricant to tracks. |
| Water leakage inside the shed. | Improperly sealed roof panels, damaged panels, inadequate foundation. | Inspect roof seams and panel connections; apply sealant if needed. Check for damaged panels and replace if necessary. Ensure foundation is level and shed is properly anchored. |
| Shed feels unstable or wobbly. | Loose fasteners, inadequate anchoring, uneven foundation. | Tighten all bolts and screws. Verify ground anchors are secure. Ensure the foundation is level. |
| Condensation inside the shed. | Poor ventilation, high humidity. | Ensure vents are clear and unobstructed. Consider adding a dehumidifier if humidity is consistently high. |
