Setup and Installation
1. Pre-Installation Checks
Before installation, ensure your rough opening meets the required dimensions. For a 24" x 80" door, the rough opening should be approximately 49" wide and 84-1/2" high. The door thickness is 1.38 inches.

2. Frame Assembly and Installation
The pocket door frame kit is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow the detailed, step-by-step instruction guide included in your package. The track is trimmable to fit your specific opening requirements.

3. Door Panel and Hardware Installation
The door panel is pre-assembled, simplifying the installation process. Attach the three-wheel hangers to the top of the door panel and then mount the door onto the installed track. Integrate the soft-close mechanism as per the instructions to ensure smooth and quiet operation.

Once installed, the door will slide completely into the wall, maximizing your usable floor space.

Operating Instructions
The SMARTSTANDARD pocket door features a quiet gliding system with a two-way soft-close mechanism. To operate, gently push or pull the door. The soft-close feature will engage automatically near the end of the door's travel, preventing slamming and ensuring a smooth, controlled stop in both opening and closing directions.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: The door panel is made from solid core MDF and can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. For painted surfaces, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Track and Hangers: Periodically inspect the track and hangers for any debris or obstructions. Clean as needed to ensure smooth operation. Do not apply oil or grease to the track unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
- Fasteners: Check all fasteners and screws periodically to ensure they remain tight. Tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability and safety.
