1. Important Safety Instructions

Before operating the LONTEK L10 Treadmill, please read and understand all safety instructions. Keep this manual for future reference.

  • Always attach the safety key to your clothing before starting the treadmill. In case of an emergency, the safety key will stop the machine.
  • Ensure the treadmill is placed on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance around it (at least 2 feet on sides and rear).
  • Keep children and pets away from the treadmill during operation.
  • Do not operate the treadmill if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly.
  • Wear appropriate athletic footwear. Do not operate barefoot or in socks.
  • Consult a physician before starting any exercise program.
  • The maximum user weight capacity for this treadmill is 400 lbs.

3. What's in the Box

4. Setup and Assembly

The LONTEK L10 Treadmill comes 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

4.1 Attaching the Display to Columns

  1. Locate the display unit and the main columns.
  2. Use a 5# allen wrench (#10) to lock the display to the columns with screw M8*20 (#62) and washer (#48). Ensure a secure fit.

4.2 Securing Bottom Covers

  1. Position the left and right bottom covers (#77 & #78) at the base of the columns.
  2. Use a cross wrench (#11) to lock these covers to the columns with screw (#60).

4.3 Installing Moving Wheels

  1. Fold the running deck up to access the underside.
  2. Use an allen wrench (#10) to secure the moving wheels (#22) to the treadmill's main frame with screws (#62) and washers (#46) and (#48).

4.4 Attaching End Caps and Water Bottle Holder

  1. Use a cross wrench (#11) to lock the left and right end caps (#17 & #18) to the running deck with screw (#53) and screw (#96).
  2. Attach the water bottle holder (#79) to the right column using a cross wrench (#11) and screw (#60).

4.5 Safety Lock Placement

  1. Place the red safety lock (#37 circular magnet) in the yellow position on the treadmill's display. The treadmill will not operate without the safety key in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Starting the Treadmill

  1. Ensure the treadmill is plugged into a grounded outlet.
  2. Attach the safety key to your clothing and place the magnet end on the designated yellow area of the display.
  3. Press the 'Start' button on the LED touchscreen or the multi-function handrail. The treadmill will begin with a low speed.

5.2 Adjusting Speed and Incline

  • Speed: Use the 'Speed+' and 'Speed-' buttons on the multi-function handrail or the touchscreen to adjust the running speed (0.6 to 8.7 MPH).
  • Incline: Use the 'Incline+' and 'Incline-' buttons on the multi-function handrail or the touchscreen to adjust the auto incline (2% to 20%).
  • The LED touchscreen displays real-time data including time, calories, speed, and distance.

5.3 Stopping the Treadmill

Press the 'Stop' button on the touchscreen or handrail. For emergency stops, pull the safety key from the display.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the treadmill with a damp cloth after each use. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Belt Lubrication: Lubricate the running belt every 3 months or after 100 hours of use, whichever comes first. Refer to the specific lubrication instructions provided with your treadmill.
  • Belt Tension: Check the running belt tension periodically. If the belt slips or feels loose, adjust it according to the instructions in the full manual.
  • Motor Cover: Periodically vacuum under the motor cover to remove dust and debris. Unplug the treadmill before performing this maintenance.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your treadmill, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
