5. Installation
Professional Installation Required: The installation of this mini split AC/heating system should only be performed by licensed HVAC installers. Improper installation can lead to refrigerant leaks, inefficient operation, and void the product warranty.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify that all components listed in Section 3.1 are present.
- Ensure the installation location meets clearance requirements for both indoor and outdoor units.
- Confirm electrical supply compatibility (115V).
5.2 Key Installation Steps (Summary for Professional Reference)
- Mount the indoor unit using the provided bracket template.
- Install the outdoor unit on a stable surface, ensuring proper drainage.
- Connect the refrigerant lines between the indoor and outdoor units. It is crucial to reflare copper lines and use Nylog on fittings to prevent leaks.
- Vacuum Pump Procedure: A vacuum pump must be used to evacuate the refrigerant lines to remove air and moisture. This step is critical for proper system operation and to prevent damage.
- Connect the electrical wiring, including the signal cable and power cord.
- Open the refrigerant valves on the outdoor unit.
- Check for any refrigerant leaks using appropriate detection methods.
Note: The system is factory-sealed and pre-charged with R32 refrigerant. It is not user-serviceable. The installation kit and power cord are included. The product ships in two packages, which may arrive separately.
6. Operation
Your YITAHOME Mini Split system can be controlled via the multifunctional remote control, a mobile application, or voice commands through Alexa or Google Home.
6.1 Remote Control Functions

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your unit.
7.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter is washable and easy to clean. It should be cleaned regularly (e.g., monthly, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality) to maintain airflow and efficiency.
- Turn off the unit and disconnect power.
- Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
- Remove the air filter(s).
- Wash the filter(s) with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter(s) to dry completely before reinserting.
- Close the front panel and restore power.

7.2 iClean (Auto-Cleaning) Function
The iClean function performs a 57°C high-temperature automatic cleaning cycle to maintain the cleanliness of the indoor unit's evaporator coil, ensuring fresh air and preventing mold growth.
- Activate this function via the remote control or mobile app as needed.
- During the cycle, the unit will condense, frost, melt, and sterilize to clean itself.
