4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HUD, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Avoid Obstructions: Ensure no objects are placed on top of the unit or blocking the projection area on the windshield, as this can impair visibility.
  • Temperature: Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Head-Up Display, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power/Display:
    • Check the USB cable connection to both the HUD and the vehicle's power source. Ensure it is securely plugged in.
    • Verify that the vehicle's ignition is on. The HUD powers on automatically with the engine.
    • Try a different USB port or power adapter if available.
  • Inaccurate Speed Reading:
    • Ensure the HUD has a clear view of the sky to receive GPS signals. Obstructions can affect accuracy.
    • Allow a few moments for the GPS module to acquire sufficient satellite signals after startup.
  • Display Not Clear/Flickering:
    • Adjust the angle of the transparent display panel.
    • Clean the display panel and your windshield to remove any dust or smudges.
    • Ensure no strong light sources are directly hitting the display panel, causing glare.
  • Buttons Not Responding:
    • Gently press the buttons to ensure proper contact.
    • If the device is unresponsive, try disconnecting and reconnecting the power cable to perform a soft reset.

If problems persist after attempting these steps, please refer to the support information provided by your retailer.
