4. Setup & Installation
Installation of a mini split system requires specialized tools and knowledge. It is highly recommended that installation be performed by a qualified HVAC professional to ensure proper function, safety, and warranty validity.
Pre-Installation Checklist:
- Verify all components are present and undamaged (refer to Section 3. Product Overview).
- Ensure the installation location meets clearance requirements for both indoor and outdoor units.
- Confirm electrical supply matches unit specifications (115V for this model).
- Gather necessary tools and safety equipment.
General Installation Steps (Professional Recommended):
- Mounting the Indoor Unit: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring sufficient space for airflow and maintenance. Install the mounting plate securely.
- Drilling Wall Hole: Drill a hole through the wall for refrigerant piping, drain hose, and communication wire.
- Installing Outdoor Unit: Place the outdoor unit on a stable, level surface, ensuring adequate clearance for airflow.
- Connecting Refrigerant Lines: Connect the copper pipes between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure proper flaring and tightening to prevent leaks.

Your YUMPIE Mini Split AC can be controlled using the included remote control or via a smartphone app.
5.1 Remote Control Operation
The remote control allows you to adjust temperature, change modes, set fan speed, and access special features.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Self-Cleaning Function
The unit features a self-cleaning function to prevent mold and bacteria buildup on the evaporator coil. Activate this function via the remote control or app (Eco Clean button/setting).

6.2 Filter Cleaning

- Remove the air filters.
- Wash the filters with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reinstalling.
