2. Setup and Initial Preparation

Your AZHAR GT12 Electric Scooter arrives 95% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final setup and initial preparation.

2.1 Unboxing and Assembly

1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Unfold the handlebars and secure them in place according to the quick start guide.
3. Ensure all connections are secure and no cables are pinched.
4. Check tire pressure. The recommended pressure is typically indicated on the tire sidewall.

2.2 Initial Charging

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The charging time is approximately 5-6 hours.

1. Locate the charging port on the scooter.
2. Connect the charger to the scooter, then plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
3. The charger indicator light will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
4. Disconnect the charger once charging is complete.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off and Controls

Follow these steps to power on your scooter, operate its display, and control its functions. Refer to the video below for a visual guide.

1. Turn on the battery switch: Locate the battery switch button, usually on the side of the scooter's deck, and press it to turn on the power. (See video at 0:00)
2. Activate the display: Press the display switch on the handlebar to power on the LCD display. (See video at 0:03)
3. Turn on/off the light: Press the "Menu" button once to toggle the headlight and taillight. (See video at 0:07)
4. Switch gears/speed modes: Press the "Menu" button twice continuously to cycle through speed gears (E, D, S). (See video at 0:11)
5. Throttle operation: Gently twist the throttle to accelerate. (See video at 0:15)
6. Turn off: To power off the display, press and hold the power button on the display. For long-term storage, also turn off the main battery switch (see video at 0:25) to disconnect power and preserve battery life.

3.2 Understanding the LCD Display

The intelligent LCD display provides real-time information and allows you to control various settings:

• Speed Indicator: Shows current speed (MPH).
• Battery Level: Displays remaining battery charge.
• Gear/Speed Mode: Indicates the current speed setting (E, D, S).
• Trip/ODO: Toggle between trip distance and total odometer.
• Light Indicator: Shows if the headlight is on.
