Important Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury, fire, or property damage.

  • Outdoor use only. Never operate this device indoors or in enclosed spaces.
  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including gloves, long sleeves, long pants, and boots, to protect yourself from heat and flame.
  • Keep a fire extinguisher and a bucket of water readily available near the torch and work area.
  • Before each operation, always check for gas leaks. Refer to the 'Setup' section for leak detection procedures.
  • Point the torch nozzle downwards before lighting.
  • For safe and easy ignition, only turn the gas valve slightly, not exceeding a 1/8 turn (approximately 45°). Excessive gas flow will hinder ignition. Ensure minimal gas flow for successful ignition.
  • After use or when not in use, always disconnect the propane tank from the torch for safety.
  • Keep children and pets away from the operating area.
  • Do not use near flammable materials or structures.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and connect your propane torch:

  1. Connect the Torch Sections: Rotate the torch sections clockwise to securely connect the ends. Ensure a tight fit.
  2. Connect to Propane Tank: Attach the torch to a 1LB propane tank (not included). Hand-tighten the connection.
  3. Check for Leaks: Before lighting, apply a soapy water solution to all connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace faulty parts. Do not proceed if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled and checked for leaks, you can operate the torch:

  1. Open Gas Valve: Slowly turn the torch gas valve no more than 1/8 turn (or 45°) to release a minimal amount of gas. Do not open excessively before ignition.
  2. Ignite Flame: Press the piezo ignition button to light the flame. Ensure the torch nozzle is pointed downwards and away from yourself and others.
  3. Adjust Flame Intensity: After the torch is ignited, the gas knob can be rotated further to adjust the flame intensity as needed.
  4. Application: Direct the flame towards the target area, such as weeds, ice, or charcoal. Maintain a safe distance from flammable objects.
  5. Shut Down: To turn off the torch, close the gas valve completely. Allow the torch to cool before handling or storing.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your GasBRUH Propane Torch:

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the torch is cool. Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the torch in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Always disconnect the propane tank before storage.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the hose and connections for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
  • O-Rings: The torch is designed with rubber O-rings at connection points for a secure seal. Periodically check these O-rings for wear and replace if necessary to prevent gas leaks.
