1.1 General Safety Warnings

3. Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your Greenworks 48V Blower/Vacuum.
3.1 Assembling the Blower
- Install the Blower Tube: Slide the blower tube onto the main unit until the tube release button locks into the slot. Attach the concentrator nozzle to the end of the blower tube by sliding it on until it latches securely.

3.2 Assembling the Vacuum/Mulcher
- Connect the Mulcher Tube: Slide the upper and lower vacuum tubes together until the latch engages.
- Install the Auxiliary Handle: Attach the auxiliary handle to the upper vacuum tube and secure it with the knob and bolt. Adjust the handle to a comfortable position, then tighten the knob.
- Install the Guide Wheels: Depress the tabs on the guide wheels and position them along the guide rail on the lower vacuum tube. Loosen the tab on the guide wheel and reposition it at the desired height until it locks into the mounting holes.
- Connect the Tube to the Product: Press the gate-lock release button to unhinge the gate. Insert the latch at the top of the vacuum tube into the wedge at the base of the product. Snap the vacuum tube enclosure shut until you hear a click from the gate-lock release button.
- Install the Collection Bag: Attach the collection bag inlet to the blower outlet until you hear a click from the tube release button. Hang the collection bag hook to the mounting hole on the lower vacuum tube.

3.3 Battery Installation
- Insert Batteries: Ensure the tool is off. Align the two 4.0Ah batteries with the battery ports on the tool and slide them in until they click into place.

4. Operation
This section details how to operate your Greenworks 48V Blower/Vacuum in its various modes.
4.1 Starting and Adjusting Speed (Blower Mode)
- Start the Blower: Ensure batteries are installed. Pull the variable trigger to start the blower.
- Adjust Air Speed: Pull the trigger further to increase air speed. Gently release the trigger to decrease air speed.
- Activate Cruise Control: Rotate the cruise control lever to sustain optimal airflow without continuously holding the trigger.

4.2 Activating Vacuum/Mulcher Mode
- Switch to Vacuum Mode: Ensure the vacuum tubes and collection bag are correctly installed. Press the vacuum mode button to activate the vacuum function. The tool will begin to draw in leaves and debris, mulching them before depositing into the collection bag.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning
- Always remove batteries before cleaning.
- Clean the tool's exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
- Inspect air vents for blockages and clear any debris.
- Empty and clean the collection bag regularly to prevent buildup and maintain vacuum efficiency.
5.2 Battery Care and Storage
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Recharge them periodically.
- Use only the Greenworks dual port charger provided with the tool.
