1. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Site Selection

Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Do not place the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.2 Window Kit Installation

The included window kit is designed for most standard vertical and horizontal sliding windows. Adjust the window panels to fit your window opening.

  1. Open the window and place the adjustable window kit panels into the window frame. Extend the panels to fit the width or height of the window, securing them in place.
  2. Ensure the window kit is sealed tightly to prevent air leakage.

4.3 Exhaust Hose Connection

  1. Attach the hose connector to one end of the exhaust hose.
  2. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
  3. Insert the hose connector into the opening of the installed window kit. Ensure a secure fit to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.

5. Operating Instructions

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the included remote control.

5.1 Control Panel

The control panel features an LED display and touch-sensitive buttons for various functions.

5.3 Operating Modes

  • Cool Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Set your desired temperature using the up/down arrows.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Adjust fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
  • Dehumidifier Mode: Reduces excess moisture in the air. The unit will collect water, which may need to be drained.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly with reduced fan speed and gradually increases the set temperature for comfortable sleep.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.

6.1 Filter Cleaning

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the air filter from the back or side of the unit (refer to the diagram in the full manual for exact location).
  3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before re-installing.

6.2 Water Drainage

In Dehumidifier mode or high humidity conditions, the unit will collect condensate. The unit may have an internal tank or require continuous drainage.

  • Manual Drainage: When the internal water tank is full, the unit may stop operating and display an indicator. Place a shallow pan under the drain port and remove the drain plug to empty the water.
  • Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation in Dehumidifier mode, attach a drain hose (not always included) to the drain port and direct it to a floor drain or bucket.

6.3 Storage

Before storing the unit for an extended period:

  1. Drain all accumulated water.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
  4. Store the unit in an upright position in a dry, cool place, covered to protect from dust.
