Setup and Assembly

The Warmiehomy Rattan Dining Chairs require assembly. Please ensure all components are present before beginning. It is recommended to have two people for assembly to facilitate alignment of parts.

Assembly Steps:

1. Attach the Seat Cushion to the Chair Frame: Position the seat cushion onto the chair frame. Align the screw holes on the bottom of the seat cushion with the corresponding holes on the chair frame.
2. Secure the Seat Cushion: Insert the appropriate screws (typically shorter ones) through the frame and into the seat cushion. Important: Do not fully tighten the screws at this stage. Leave them slightly loose to allow for adjustment.
3. Attach the Rattan Backrest: Align the rattan backrest with the upper part of the chair frame. Ensure the screw holes on the backrest align with the holes on the frame.
4. Secure the Backrest: Insert the appropriate screws (typically longer ones) to attach the backrest to the frame. Again, do not fully tighten these screws yet.
5. Final Tightening: Once all components are loosely assembled and all screw holes are aligned, gradually tighten all screws securely. Avoid excessive force, especially when tightening screws for the backrest, as the frame is wood and can crack.

Operating Instructions

These dining chairs are designed for indoor use in dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, offices, guest rooms, restaurants, or coffee bars. The cantilever steel frame provides a slight bounce for comfort, and the rattan backrest offers breathability.

Usage Guidelines:

• Ensure the chair is placed on a flat, stable surface before use.
• Do not exceed the maximum load bearing capacity of 320 lbs per chair.
• Avoid standing on the chairs or using them as step stools.
• The armless design allows for easy placement around various dining tables and maximizes space efficiency.

Maintenance

Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Warmiehomy dining chairs.

Cleaning:

• Seat Cushions: The PU leather surface is stain-resistant and easy to clean. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and immediately wipe dry. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Rattan Backrest: Gently wipe the rattan with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust. Avoid excessive moisture.
• Metal Frame: Wipe the chrome-plated steel frame with a soft, dry cloth. For smudges, a glass cleaner can be used, followed by a dry wipe.

General Care:

• Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can affect the rattan and PU leather.
• Use the provided plastic protective pads on the chair legs to prevent scratches on your floor.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Issue: Screw holes do not align during assembly.
  Solution: This is a common issue if screws are tightened prematurely. Ensure all screws are only loosely inserted into their respective holes before attempting to fully tighten any of them. This allows for slight adjustments and alignment. Once all screws are in place, gradually tighten them in a cross-pattern.
• Issue: The chair rocks or is unstable after assembly.
  Solution: This can occur if the frame is not evenly tightened. Loosen all screws slightly, place the chair on a flat surface, and apply even pressure to the seat. Then, gradually tighten all screws again, ensuring the chair remains stable. Check that the plastic protective pads are correctly installed on the bottom of the frame.
• Issue: Damage to the rattan backrest during assembly.
  Solution: The rattan backrest frame is made of wood. Avoid excessive force when tightening screws into the backrest, as this can cause the wood to crack. If damage occurs, contact customer support for assistance.
