1. Safety Instructions

Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this leaf blower. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

  • Always wear eye protection and hearing protection when operating the blower.
  • Do not operate the blower in wet conditions or rain.
  • Keep children, bystanders, and pets at least 50 feet (15 meters) away from the operating area.
  • Ensure the battery pack is securely installed before use.
  • Remove the battery pack before cleaning, servicing, or storing the unit.
  • Do not point the blower nozzle at people or animals.
  • Use only Greenworks 24V batteries and chargers with this product.

2. Product Components

Familiarize yourself with the main components of your Greenworks 48V (2x24V) Cordless Brushless Axial Leaf Blower.

  • Blower Unit: Main body housing the motor and controls.
  • Blower Tube: Attaches to the main unit to direct airflow.
  • Concentrator Nozzle: Optional attachment for focused airflow.
  • 24V 4.0Ah Batteries (x2): Provide power to the blower.
  • Dual Port Rapid Charger: Charges both 24V batteries simultaneously.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Batteries

Before first use, fully charge both 24V 4.0Ah batteries using the provided dual port rapid charger.

  1. Connect the charger to a standard 120V AC outlet.
  2. Insert the 24V batteries into the charger slots. Ensure they click into place.
  3. The charger indicator lights will show the charging status. A solid green light indicates a full charge.
  4. Once fully charged, remove the batteries by pressing the release buttons and pulling them out.

3.2 Assembling the Blower

  1. Align the blower tube with the main unit's air outlet.
  2. Push the tube firmly until it locks into place.
  3. (Optional) For concentrated airflow, attach the concentrator nozzle to the end of the blower tube.
  4. Insert both charged 24V batteries into the battery compartments on the blower until they click securely.

4. Operation

4.1 Starting and Stopping

  1. Ensure both batteries are fully charged and securely installed.
  2. Press the power button located on the handle to turn on the blower.
  3. Squeeze the variable speed trigger to start the airflow. The speed will increase as you squeeze the trigger further.
  4. To stop, release the variable speed trigger.

4.2 Using Variable Speed and Cruise Control

  • The variable speed trigger allows you to adjust the airflow from low to high.
  • For continuous operation at a desired speed, squeeze the trigger to the desired level, then push the cruise control lever forward to lock the speed.
  • To disengage cruise control, pull the trigger fully and release, or pull the cruise control lever back.

4.3 Using the Turbo Button

For maximum power to clear stubborn debris, press the turbo button located on the top of the handle. This will temporarily boost the airflow to its highest setting.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your leaf blower.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Always remove batteries before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the blower with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents.
  • Clear any debris from the air intake vents to prevent overheating.

5.2 Storage

  • Store the blower in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Remove the batteries from the blower before storing for extended periods.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, partially charged (around 50%).

6. Troubleshooting
