1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the InfratexRC remote control, designed for use with various Saba United television models. This remote control offers a straightforward user experience with no complex setup required. Simply insert batteries, and it is ready for immediate use.

2. Safety Information

• Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight, heat sources, or extreme temperatures.
• Avoid dropping the remote control or subjecting it to strong impacts.
• Do not immerse the remote control in water or other liquids.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations. Do not incinerate.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Once batteries are installed, the remote control is ready for use with your compatible Saba United TV. No additional programming is required.

5. Operating the Remote Control

This remote control functions identically to your original Saba United TV remote. Point the remote control directly at the TV's infrared receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

5.1 Basic Functions

• Power Button: Turns the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Selects channels directly.
• Channel Up/Down: Navigates through channels sequentially.
• Volume Up/Down: Adjusts the TV's volume level.
• Mute Button: Silences the TV audio.
• Input/Source Button: Changes the input source (e.g., HDMI, AV).
• Menu Button: Accesses the TV's main menu.
• Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Used to navigate menus and confirm selections.
• Back/Exit Button: Returns to the previous screen or exits a menu.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.

6.2 Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AAA). Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
