2. Product Overview

The CAMMOO RV Tankless Water Heater provides instant hot water for your recreational vehicle. It features a 65,000 BTU heating capacity, a 3.9 GPM flow rate, and operates on 12V DC power. The unit includes a safety door and a wired controller for convenient operation.

3. Setup and Installation

The CAMMOO RV Tankless Water Heater is designed for built-in installation. Clear labeling on the unit simplifies the setup process. The wired controller uses a plug-and-play connector, eliminating complex wiring.

Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the mounting location in your RV can accommodate the unit's dimensions (15"W x 15"H x 14.3"D) and provides adequate ventilation.
  2. Mount the Unit: Securely install the water heater into the designated opening.
  3. Connect Water Lines: Connect the cold water inlet (1/2" NPT) and hot water outlet (1/2" NPT). Ensure all connections are watertight.
  4. Connect Gas Line: Connect the propane gas inlet (pre-installed adapter 5/8" UNF). Verify all gas connections are secure and leak-free.
  5. Connect Power: Connect the 12V DC power cord (5A-10A). The unit operates on 12V DC.
  6. Install Wired Controller: Plug the wired controller into its dedicated port. No complex wiring is required for the controller.
  7. Install Safety Door: Attach the included safety door to the exterior of the RV, covering the water heater compartment.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed, operating your CAMMOO RV Tankless Water Heater is straightforward using the wired controller.

Initial Startup

  1. Ensure the propane supply is open and the water supply is connected and turned on.
  2. Turn on the 12V DC power to the unit.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button on the wired controller.
  4. The unit will initiate its startup sequence and display current status.

Setting Water Temperature

Use the 'TEMP UP' and 'TEMP DOWN' buttons on the wired controller to adjust your desired water temperature. The maximum temperature is 123°F. The unit will rapidly heat water to your set temperature within approximately 3 seconds.

  • High-Altitude Mode: Automatically adjusts operation for altitudes up to 9800 feet (3000 meters) to maintain performance.

External Water Usage

The external water outlet allows for convenient outdoor water use, such as washing gear or pets, keeping dirt outside your RV.
