1. Product Overview

The Govee Outdoor Solar String Lights H3001 provide vibrant and customizable lighting for outdoor spaces. Featuring RGBICW technology, these lights offer 16 million colors and warm white light, powered efficiently by a solar panel. Designed for durability, they are IP67 waterproof and can be controlled via the Govee Home App, offering various scene modes, music sync, and scheduling options.

• Ensure all connections are secure before use.
• Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the product.
• Keep the solar panel clean for optimal charging efficiency.
• Avoid placing the solar panel in shaded areas.
• The string lights are designed for outdoor use and are IP67 waterproof. However, avoid submerging the solar panel.
• For first-time use, fully charge the battery with a 5V/3A adapter before installation.

5. Setup Guide

5.1 Initial Device Check

Before full installation, connect the solar panel to the light string. Press and hold the power button on the solar panel for 3 seconds to turn the lights on. Confirm all functions are working correctly before proceeding with mounting.

5.2 Installing the Light String

You may install the light string before mounting the solar panel. The cable length between the first bulb and the solar panel is 3 meters. Plan your installation layout accordingly. Use the provided zip ties to secure the light string along fences, pergolas, or other desired structures.

5.3 Installing the Solar Module

Select a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging. The solar module can be installed using either the ground stake or screw-mount brackets.

• Ground Stake Installation: Attach the ground stake to the mounting support and firmly insert it into the ground.
• Wall/Surface Mount Installation: Use the provided screws and expansion tubes to secure the mounting support to a wall or other flat surface.

Once the support is in place, mount the solar panel onto the support and secure it, ensuring it faces your desired orientation for maximum sun exposure. The solar panel features 180° tilt adjustment.

5.4 App Connection

Download the Govee Home App from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices). Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is turned on. Open the app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner, and search for "H3001". Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing. Once connected, you can control your lights via the app.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the back of the solar panel for 3 seconds to manually turn the lights on or off. The lights will also automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn if the Ambient Light Sensing Feature is enabled in the app.

6.2 App Control

The Govee Home App unlocks the full potential of your string lights:

• Color & Brightness: Choose from 16 million colors and adjust brightness from 1% to 100%. Access warm white light mode via Scene > Life > White Light.
• Scene Modes: Select from 112 preset scene modes for various occasions.
• DIY Lighting Effects: Create and customize your own unique lighting effects.
• Music Modes: Sync lights to music with 12 different music modes.
• Timers: Set on/off schedules to automate your lighting.
• Ambient Light Sensing: Enable auto dusk-to-dawn lighting with 5 adjustable levels.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Regularly wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris, ensuring maximum sunlight absorption. Clean the light bulbs as needed.

7.2 Battery Care

The integrated 4800mAh battery provides up to 13 hours of light on a full charge (at 10lm brightness). If continuous rainy weather leads to low power, you may remove the solar panel and charge it manually using a 5V/3A DC input adapter (not included). For faster charging, turn the device off while it is plugged in.

7.3 Weather Considerations

The string lights and solar panel are IP67 waterproof, designed to withstand various weather conditions. The solar panel's ETFE technology ensures durability in extreme temperatures (-4°F to 104°F) and chemical exposure. While robust, prolonged exposure to severe weather may affect performance over time.

8. Troubleshooting

• Lights not turning on: Ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight and is fully charged. Check all cable connections. Press and hold the power button on the solar panel for 3 seconds.
• App connection issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the lights are within range. Restart the Govee Home App and try reconnecting.
• Lights dim or short runtime: The solar panel may not be getting enough sunlight. Relocate the panel to a sunnier spot or manually charge the battery.
• Inconsistent lighting: Check for any physical damage to the bulbs or wiring. Ensure the solar panel is securely connected.
