Operating the Chronograph

Your Batmobile Chronograph Watch is equipped with a precise VK63 MechaQuartz movement, offering accurate timekeeping and chronograph functions.

Using the Chronograph

  1. Start/Stop: Press the upper pusher (A) to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop.
  2. Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the lower pusher (B) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

The chronograph features three sub-dials: a 60-minute counter, a 24-hour indicator, and a small seconds hand.

Tachymeter Function

The tachymeter bezel can be used to measure speed over a known distance (e.g., 1 kilometer or 1 mile). Start the chronograph at the beginning of the distance and stop it at the end. The number on the tachymeter scale corresponding to the chronograph second hand's position indicates the average speed in units per hour.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. For the stainless steel bracelet, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.

  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or sudden temperature changes, which can affect its accuracy and seals.
  • Chemicals: Keep the watch away from chemicals, solvents, and detergents, which can damage the case, strap, or seals.
  • Battery Replacement: The watch is battery-powered. When the battery runs low, have it replaced by a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and function.
