3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Powering On

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries for main operation and 2 AAA batteries for backup, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Remove any transparent protective film from the batteries if present.
3. Close the battery compartment cover. The clock will power on and attempt to receive radio signals for automatic time adjustment.

3.2 Automatic Time Adjustment (Radio Wave Reception)

The clock is equipped with a radio wave reception function that automatically corrects the time. Place the clock in an area where radio signals can be easily received, typically between 2 AM and 5 AM. The clock will attempt to synchronize with standard time signals from transmitters up to 1,000 km away (e.g., Fukuoka/Saga and Fukushima regions in Japan).

4.1 Alarm Function

The clock supports up to 3 independent alarms. You can select from 57 different chime sounds and adjust the alarm volume. Refer to the manual for detailed steps on setting and activating alarms.

4.2 Snooze Function

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

5.2 Battery Replacement

When the display dims or functions become erratic, it is time to replace the batteries. Open the battery compartment, remove old batteries, and insert new ones, ensuring correct polarity. The backup batteries will retain settings during main battery replacement.
