Setup

Unpacking and Initial Expansion

Your Korser Cloud Modular Sectional Sofa is delivered in vacuum-compressed packaging to facilitate shipping. Follow these steps for initial setup:

1. Carefully open the package. Avoid using sharp objects that could damage the fabric.
2. Remove the individual modules from the packaging.
3. Gently pat each module to help the high-density foam begin its expansion process.
4. Allow 48-72 hours for the foam to fully expand and the sofa to restore its intended fluffiness and shape. Slight wrinkles in the fabric from compression will also recover during this time.

Modular Combination

Corduroy Fabric Care

The sofa is upholstered in a durable, pet-friendly corduroy fabric. Its tightly woven texture helps resist snagging from pet claws, and pet hair is easily removed with a lint roller. For general cleaning and stain removal, follow these guidelines:

• Regular Cleaning: Vacuum the sofa regularly using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and loose debris.
• Spot Cleaning: For minor stains, gently blot the affected area with a clean, damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral fabric cleaner. Avoid excessive rubbing, which can damage the fabric. Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area first.
• Spills: Immediately blot spills with a clean, dry cloth to absorb as much liquid as possible. Do not rub.
• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the corduroy fabric.
• Sunlight Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading. Position your sofa away from direct sunlight or use curtains/blinds to protect it.

Troubleshooting

• Sofa appears flat or wrinkled upon arrival: This is normal due to vacuum compression. Allow 48-72 hours for the foam to fully expand and the fabric to smooth out. Gently patting the modules can assist this process.
• Sofa feels firmer than expected: New foam cushions often feel firm initially. They will soften with regular use over time. Ensure the sofa has had sufficient time (48-72 hours) to fully expand after unpacking.
• Modules shift or separate: While the modules are designed to be movable, ensure they are placed on a flat, stable surface. For more stability, consider placing a non-slip rug underneath or using furniture connectors (not included) if desired.
