3. Setup and Initial Assembly

Your Seemar D6 scooter comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the scooter and all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present: scooter, charger, installation tool, and this instruction manual.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Unfold the scooter frame. Attach the handlebar to the stem using the provided installation tool. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
  3. Adjust Handlebar Height: The handlebar height is adjustable. Loosen the quick-release clamp, adjust the handlebar to a comfortable height, and then securely fasten the clamp.
  4. Initial Charge: Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port and then to a power outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will change color (e.g., red to green) when fully charged. This typically takes about 7 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the LED display to turn the scooter on or off.

LED Display Functions

The high-definition LED display shows real-time information:

  • Speed: Current riding speed.
  • Battery Level: Remaining battery charge.
  • Speed Mode: Indicates the selected speed setting.
  • Other Indicators: Headlight status, error codes, etc.

Speed Modes

The scooter offers three speed modes (10 km/h, 15 km/h, 25 km/h). Press the mode button on the display to cycle through these settings. The scooter also supports speed limit removal for private property use, consult local regulations before doing so.

Riding

  1. Place one foot on the deck and push off with the other foot to gain initial momentum.
  2. Gently press the accelerator lever to engage the motor.
  3. Maintain balance and keep both hands on the handlebars.

Braking

The Seemar D6 features a dual braking system: front and rear disc brakes combined with EABS. To brake, gently squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars. For emergency stops, apply both brakes firmly and evenly.

Lights and Turn Signals

Activate the LED headlight for night riding. Use the left and right turn signals to indicate your direction to others. The rear light illuminates when braking.

Folding Mechanism

To fold the scooter, locate the one-click folding lever near the base of the steering column. Follow the instructions to release the mechanism and fold the stem down until it locks into place. This makes the scooter compact for storage or transport.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Seemar D6 scooter.

  • Battery Care:

6. Troubleshooting
