Setup Instructions

The ActiveTrail Outdoor Dog Kennel is designed for straightforward assembly. It is recommended that two adults perform the assembly.

1. Unpack and Identify Components

Carefully unpack all parts from the packaging. Lay them out and compare them against the included parts list (not provided in this document, refer to your product packaging). Ensure all components are present and undamaged before proceeding.

2. Assemble the Frame

Connect the metal panels to form the kennel's perimeter. Use the provided connectors and hardware to secure each panel. Ensure all connections are tight and stable. The frame should be rigid once assembled.

3. Install the Roof Cover

Place the UV-resistant waterproof roof cover over the assembled frame. Secure the cover using the strong straps or bungee cords provided, attaching them to the frame eyelets. Ensure the cover is taut and the sloped design is oriented correctly to prevent water accumulation.

4. Attach the Swivel Feeding Bowl System

Mount the swivel stainless steel feeding bowl system to the designated opening on the kennel panel. Ensure it rotates smoothly and locks securely in place when not in use, preventing your pet from pushing it out.

5. Final Inspection

Before introducing your pet, perform a final inspection. Check all connections, ensure the door operates smoothly and locks securely, and confirm the roof cover is firmly attached. Remove any tools or packaging materials from the kennel area.

Operating Instructions

Door Operation

The kennel features a secure door with a lock. To open, slide the latch mechanism and pull the door outwards. To close, push the door shut and engage the latch firmly to prevent accidental opening.

Rotary Feeding System

The integrated swivel feeding bowl allows for convenient feeding without entering the kennel. To use, unlock the swivel mechanism, rotate the bowl outwards, fill with food or water, and then rotate it back into the kennel. Secure the swivel mechanism to prevent your pet from accessing the outside.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain a healthy environment for your pet. It is recommended to flush the kennel regularly with water. For deeper cleaning, use a pet-safe disinfectant and rinse thoroughly. The stainless steel feeding bowl should be cleaned daily.

Inspection

Periodically inspect the kennel for:

Troubleshooting

Kennel Frame is Unstable

Feeding Bowl Does Not Swivel Smoothly
