Important Safety Warnings
- Always store firearms unloaded and separate from ammunition.
- Keep the safe locked at all times when not in use.
- Never store backup keys inside the safe. Keep them in a secure, separate location away from the safe and out of reach of children.
- Ensure children and unauthorized individuals do not have access to the safe or its contents.
- This safe is designed to deter theft and unauthorized access. It is not fireproof or waterproof unless explicitly stated.
- Mount the safe securely to a floor or wall to prevent removal.

Setup Instructions
1. Battery Installation
The safe requires 4 Brand New AA ALKALINE batteries (not included) for operation. Mixing old and new batteries or different battery types may cause the device to malfunction.
- Locate the battery compartment, typically on the inside of the safe door or rear panel.
- Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Access and Keypad/Fingerprint Programming
Upon first use, open the safe using one of the two backup keys provided. Insert the key into the keyhole, turn it, and open the safe door.

Programming a Digital Passcode
- With the safe door open, locate the programming button (usually red or a small button inside the door).
- Press the programming button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Enter your desired 4-digit passcode on the keypad.
- Press the '#' or 'Enter' button to confirm. The indicator light will flash to confirm successful programming.
- Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.
Programming Fingerprints
The safe can store up to 20 unique fingerprints.
- With the safe door open, press the programming button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Place your finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. Lift and repeat this process 6 times, slightly adjusting the finger position each time to capture different angles of your fingerprint.
- The indicator light will flash to confirm successful programming.
- Test the newly registered fingerprint with the door open before closing it.
3. Mounting the Safe
For enhanced security, it is recommended to securely mount the safe to a floor or wall using the included mounting screws.
- Choose a discreet and secure location for mounting.
- Mark the drilling points through the pre-drilled holes inside the safe.
- Drill pilot holes into the mounting surface.
- Align the safe and secure it with the provided mounting screws.
Operating Instructions
1. Opening the Safe
The RPNB RP2016 offers three methods for quick access:
- Biometric Fingerprint: Place a registered finger firmly on the sensor. The safe will open automatically upon successful recognition.
- Digital Keypad: Enter your programmed 4-digit passcode followed by the '#' or 'Enter' button. The safe will open automatically.
- Backup Key: In case of battery failure or forgotten codes, insert one of the backup keys into the keyhole and turn to open.

2. Silent Mode (Mute Beep)
To operate the safe without audible beeps, consult your full product manual for specific instructions on activating silent mode. This feature is useful for discreet access.
3. Interior Lighting
The safe features interior lighting to improve visibility, allowing easy access to your firearms even in low-light conditions. The light activates automatically when the safe is opened.

4. Using the Foam Rack

- Insert up to four handguns into the designated slots for secure and organized storage.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the batteries are low, the indicator light may flash or the safe may emit a warning sound. Replace all four AA alkaline batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Open the safe using a valid entry method.
- Remove the old batteries from the compartment.
- Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment.
2. Cleaning

3. Emergency Power Supply
The safe is equipped with a built-in USB Type-C port for emergency power supply. This port is intended for temporary use only when batteries are dead and backup keys are unavailable. Connect a USB Type-C cable (not included) to an external power source to temporarily power the safe and gain access.
