Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, switch the device to the OFF position and place it in direct sunlight for at least 4-6 hours to fully charge the battery. For long rainy seasons or low-light conditions, use the included USB charging cable for a quick boost.

2. Mounting

Mount the unit using the supplied screws and anchors. The device offers versatile mounting options:

• Porch Post Mount: Secure directly to a wooden post.
• Yard Fence Mount: Attach to a fence post or panel.
• Eaves Mount: Install under eaves to protect house siding.
• Garden/Orchard Tree Mount: Use rope (not included) or screws to attach to a tree.

3. Placement Recommendations

The device should be placed in a sunny location, facing the area to be protected, and at an optimal height.

• Place the repellent in a sunny area to maximize solar charging.
• Face the motion sensor towards the area where animals typically enter.
• Keep the head of the repeller approximately 9-10 inches (23-25 cm) above the ground for optimal detection.
• Ensure the device is at least 3 feet (approx. 1 meter) above the ground for optimal range.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button once. The LED will illuminate red, and the system will activate, emitting ultrasonic frequencies. The unit will be activated again if it senses any further intruder movement after 14-18 seconds.

2. Adjusting Frequency

The adjustable dial allows you to select specific frequencies to target different types of pests.

Turn the adjustable switch (dial) to select the desired animal(s) you wish to repel. Different frequencies target different animals. Some frequencies may repel more than one animal. Refer to the diagram on the device or in the manual for specific settings.

3. Imitation Sound Function

If an animal intruder is detected, press the imitation sound button. The device will first emit 30 seconds of ultrasonic waves, then switch to 30 seconds of imitation deterrent sounds. Simultaneously, the dual high-brightness COB flashing lights will activate, especially effective at night.

4. Motion Sensor Functionality

The built-in PIR motion sensor detects movement within its effective range (up to 5,000 sq. ft. with a 120° detection angle) and triggers the ultrasonic sounds and flashing lights.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the solar panel and motion sensor regularly with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance. Do not use harsh chemicals.

2. Battery Care

The device features a built-in rechargeable battery that is primarily charged by the solar panel, with a USB port for backup charging.

The built-in 1200mAh rechargeable battery is designed for daily solar charging. If there is no sunshine or it rains continuously for several days, and the battery capacity becomes very low, it is recommended to recharge the unit using the included USB charging cable.

The device is designed with an IP65 waterproof rating for reliable outdoor use in various weather conditions.
