5. Setup and Installation
This security light is designed for simple hardwired installation on walls or eaves. A junction box is required.
5.1 Installation Steps
- Turn off Power: Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before starting.
- Secure the Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to your junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly secured.
- Apply Foam Gasket: Place the foam gasket over the junction box and mounting bracket to create a weather-tight seal.
- Connect Wires: Connect the fixture's wires to your household wiring using the wire nuts:
- Black wire (fixture) to Black wire (household - Live)
- White wire (fixture) to White wire (household - Neutral)
- Green wire (fixture) to Green/Bare Copper wire (household - Ground)
- Mount and Seal: Align the center hole of the fixture with the gasket hole. Insert the mounting bolt (CC) through the fixture and into the mounting bracket. Tighten the bolt securely. Do not pinch wires or overtighten. Apply the silicone plug over the mounting bolt head for additional weather protection.
- Adjust Light Heads: Adjust the three light heads to cover your desired area (driveway, yard, garage, entryway).

5.2 Mounting Orientation
The fixture can be mounted on walls or eaves. Ensure the motion sensor maintains a horizontal orientation for optimal performance.

6. Operating Instructions
The LEPOWER-TEC LED Security Light offers multiple customizable settings for optimal performance.
6.1 Adjustable Settings
Use the dials on the motion sensor to adjust the following:
- Detection Range: Select from 20, 50, 70, or 100 feet.
- Brightness: Choose from 3000, 4500, 5500, or 7000 Lumens.
- Timer (Motion Stay On Time): Set the light to stay on for 1, 2, 5, or 10 minutes after motion is no longer detected.

6.2 Operating Modes
The light features four operating modes:
- Auto Mode (Motion-Activated Lighting at Night):
In this mode, the light remains off at night until motion is detected. Upon detection, it illuminates at the selected brightness level for the set duration, then turns off if no further motion is detected. This mode is active only in low-light conditions.

- Manual Override Mode (Steady Light):
To activate continuous lighting, quickly toggle your wall switch OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 2 seconds. The light will stay on at the selected brightness until dawn or until the mode is reset by turning the wall switch off for more than 10 seconds.

- Dusk-to-Dawn (D2D) Mode:
In D2D mode, the light provides a low-level illumination (approximately 20% brightness) from dusk until dawn. When motion is detected, it temporarily switches to the selected high brightness, then returns to low light after the set duration. This mode offers continuous ambient lighting with enhanced security.

- Test Mode:
Use Test Mode to fine-tune the motion sensor's detection range and light head aiming during daylight. In this mode, the light will activate for approximately 7 seconds each time motion is detected, regardless of ambient light levels. Set the timer dial to "Test" for this function.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light heads and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Annually inspect the wiring and mounting for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Ensure the silicone plug is intact.
- LEDs: The LED lights are integrated and not user-replaceable.
