Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Ground Sleeve: Dig a hole in your desired location, ensuring it is deep enough to securely anchor the PVC ground sleeve. The ground sleeve should be installed vertically and level. Fill around the sleeve with concrete or compacted soil to secure it. Allow sufficient time for concrete to cure if used.
  2. Assemble the Pole Sections: Connect the 6 aluminum pole sections by sliding them together. Ensure each section is fully seated. While the sections are designed to fit snugly, consider adding self-tapping screws (not included) for additional security in high-wind areas, as some users prefer this for enhanced stability.
  3. Attach the Pulley System and Solar Light: Secure the pulley system (truck) to the top pole section. Then, attach the solar light to the top of the pole, ensuring the eagle topper finial can be screwed into the light's central hole. Note: Some users have reported the finial post being a tight fit for the solar light hole. If necessary, carefully widen the hole slightly with an appropriate drill bit (e.g., 23/32 inch) to ensure a proper fit.
  4. Install the Rope and Flag Clips: Thread the rope through the pulley system. Attach the flag clips to the rope at appropriate intervals to accommodate your flag(s). This pole allows for flying two flags simultaneously.
  5. Raise the Pole: Carefully insert the assembled flagpole into the secured PVC ground sleeve. Ensure it is fully seated and stable.
  6. Attach the Flag: Secure your 3x5 ft embroidered American flag to the flag clips. Raise the flag using the rope and cleat system.

Operating Instructions

Solar Light Operation:

The integrated 144 LED solar light is designed for automatic operation. It charges during daylight hours and automatically illuminates your flag from dusk until dawn. No manual switching is required for daily use.

  • Automatic On/Off: The light features a built-in sensor that detects ambient light levels, turning the LEDs on at dusk and off at dawn.
  • Charging: Ensure the solar panel on top of the light is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging. A full charge typically provides over 18 hours of illumination.
  • Brightness Modes: The solar light may offer multiple brightness settings. Refer to the specific instructions included with the solar light for details on adjusting these modes, if applicable.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your LNEUIE Flag Pole.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the aluminum pole sections with mild soap and water to remove dirt and grime. The powder-coated finish is designed to be weather-resistant.
  • Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel on the light clean and free of debris (leaves, dust, snow) to ensure efficient charging.
  • Rope and Clips: Inspect the rope (halyard) and flag clips regularly for signs of wear and tear. Replace them if they show significant fraying or damage to prevent flag loss.
  • Flag Condition: The included 3x5 ft embroidered flag is designed for durability. However, flags exposed to harsh weather will eventually wear. Inspect your flag periodically and replace it if it becomes tattered or faded.
  • Weather Resistance: The flagpole and solar light are IP67 waterproof and anti-UV, designed to withstand various weather conditions including sun, rain, and snow.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Solar light does not turn on at night.Insufficient charging; solar panel is dirty or obstructed; battery issue.Ensure solar panel is clean and receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours. Check for any obstructions. If problem persists, the internal battery may need replacement (refer to manufacturer for battery type).
Flagpole sections feel loose or wobble.Sections not fully seated; ground sleeve not securely installed.Ensure all pole sections are pushed firmly together. Verify the ground sleeve is properly anchored in concrete or compacted soil. For added security, consider using self-tapping screws to join pole sections.
Eagle finial does not fit into the solar light.Manufacturing tolerance issue with the hole size.Carefully and slightly widen the hole in the solar light using an appropriate drill bit (e.g., 23/32 inch) until the finial post fits securely.
Rope or flag clips break.Wear and tear; exposure to harsh weather.Replace worn rope or broken flag clips with suitable replacements. Regular inspection can prevent unexpected failures.
