5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Starting and Stopping a Recording
You can control recording directly from the device or via the app.
Method 1: Device Button Operation
- Power On: Short press the power button. The indicator will turn Solid Blue.
- Start Recording: Press the button again. The indicator will turn Solid Red, indicating recording is in progress.
- Stop & Save: Press the button once more to end the recording. The file will be saved and automatically uploaded to the mobile app.
Method 2: App Remote Control
- Start Recording: Tap the Record button in the Phone App. The device will automatically wake up and transition from Off (Solid Blue) to Recording (Solid Red).
- Pause Recording: Tap the Record button again to pause. The device indicator will show a Flashing Red light.
- Stop & Save: Tap the Stop button on the App. The device indicator will change from Red back to Solid Blue.
Important Note on Saving Files: If the device is in "Paused" mode (Flashing Red Light), the recording is not yet finished, and no file has been generated. You must directly tap the Stop button again on the App to finish the recording and generate the file.
