Operating the Oscillating Sprinkler
The oscillating sprinkler provides even water distribution and can be adjusted to suit your coverage needs.

- Adjusting Spray Width and Range: The sprinkler features adjustable controls (typically an orange dial or sliders on the side) that allow you to customize the spray pattern. Move these controls to narrow or widen the watering area, and to adjust the overall range of the oscillation. This allows for coverage up to 3,000 square feet.
- Even Distribution: The oscillating action ensures a rain-like, even distribution of water, preventing over-watering in some areas and under-watering in others.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your watering system.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AA batteries in the smart timer annually, or when the low battery indicator appears on the LCD screen.
- Filter Cleaning: Periodically check the filter screen located at the inlet of the smart timer (visible in the exploded view image). Remove any debris or sediment to maintain proper water flow.
- Sprinkler Nozzle Cleaning: If water flow from the sprinkler nozzles becomes uneven, gently clean the nozzles with a soft brush or a small pin to remove any blockages.
- Winter Storage: Before the first frost, disconnect the timer and sprinkler from the spigot and hose. Drain all water from the system to prevent freezing damage. Store the timer, sprinkler, and hose in a dry, frost-free location.
- Hose Care: Avoid kinking or sharply bending the hose during use and storage to maintain its integrity.
