1. Introduction

The Ravemen AOM06 Out Front Mount is designed for aero integrated handlebars, providing a secure and elevated position for your bike computer and other accessories. Constructed from high-strength nylon, this mount offers durability and a lightweight design, enhancing your cycling experience by keeping essential information within your natural line of sight.

2. Setup

2.1. Package Contents

Before installation, ensure all components are present:

  • 2 x M5×18 Screws

2.2. Compatibility

The AOM06 mount is compatible with Garmin, Wahoo, and Bryton bike computers, as well as other devices utilizing a quarter-turn mount. Adapters are included to switch between different device types. The mount also supports additional devices such as action cameras and bike lights (e.g., FR500, FR300, FR160 models) via its lower attachment point.

2.3. Installation Steps

The AOM06 mount is designed for quick installation. Please confirm your handlebar mounting hole spacing is between 12 mm and 60 mm before proceeding.

  1. Position the Mount: Place the Ravemen AOM06 mount onto the designated mounting points of your aero integrated handlebar.
  2. Insert Screws: Align the mount with the handlebar holes and insert the appropriate screws (M5x18 or M5x14 depending on your handlebar) into the mounting points.
  3. Tighten Screws: Use the provided hex key to tighten the screws. Ensure they are secure but do not overtighten to prevent damage to the handlebar or mount.
  4. Verify Installation: Confirm the mount is firmly attached and does not wobble.

3. Operation

3.1. Attaching Devices

Once the mount is securely installed, attach your bike computer by aligning its quarter-turn interface with the mount's receiver and twisting until it locks into place. For additional accessories like lights or action cameras, use the lower attachment point as required. When using a stacked setup, a safety tether is recommended for added security.

3.2. Enhanced Viewing Angle

The AOM06 features a 16.7-degree upward angle, positioning your bike computer closer to your natural line of sight. This design allows for quicker glances at speed and navigation data, reducing head movement and contributing to safer riding, especially on busy roads or during descents.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

To clean the mount, wipe it with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the nylon finish.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1. Mount is Loose or Wobbles

  • Ensure all screws are tightened securely. Refer to Section 2.3, Step 3.
  • Verify that the mount is correctly aligned with the handlebar's mounting holes.
  • Check if your handlebar's mounting hole spacing is within the compatible range (12 mm to 60 mm).

5.2. Device Does Not Attach Securely

  • Confirm you are using the correct adapter for your specific bike computer (Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton).
  • Ensure the device's quarter-turn interface is clean and free of debris.
  • Twist the device firmly until it clicks into place.
