3.3 Sensor Pairing
Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display within a few minutes. If the outdoor readings do not appear, press the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to initiate a manual search, or press the 'RESET' button on both units and repeat the power-up sequence.
3.4 Initial Settings (Time, Date, Units)
- Radio-Controlled Time: The weather station will attempt to synchronize its time and date via radio signal (DCF). This process may take several minutes or hours depending on your location.
- Manual Time/Date Setting: If radio synchronization is unavailable, press and hold the 'MODE' button to enter time setting mode. Use the '▲' (Up) and '▼' (Down) buttons to adjust values and 'MODE' to confirm and move to the next setting (Hour > Minute > Year > Month > Day).
- Temperature Units: Press the '▲' (Up) button briefly to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉).
3.5 Placement Recommendations
- Main Unit: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. It can be placed on a desk, nightstand, or mounted on a wall.
- Outdoor Sensor: Mount the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it near metal objects or large electrical appliances that could interfere with the wireless signal. The maximum transmission range is approximately 30 meters (100 feet) in open air.

4.2 Button Functions
- CHANNEL: Press to view readings from different outdoor sensors (if multiple are paired). Press and hold to initiate a manual search for outdoor sensors.
- ▲ (Up): In normal mode, press to switch temperature units (℃/℉). In setting mode, increases the value.
- MODE: Press to cycle through display modes (e.g., time, alarm). Press and hold to enter setting mode for time, date, and other parameters.
- ▼ (Down): In normal mode, press to view MIN/MAX temperature and humidity records. In setting mode, decreases the value.
- TEMP HUM ALERT: Press to set temperature and humidity alerts.
4.3 Weather Forecast
The weather station predicts weather conditions for the next 12-24 hours based on barometric pressure changes. The forecast is represented by animated icons:

- Sunny: Clear skies expected.
- Partly Cloudy: Mix of sun and clouds.
- Cloudy: Overcast conditions.
- Rainy: Rain expected.
- Snowy: Snow expected.
Note: The weather forecast is an estimation and may not always be 100% accurate.
4.4 Barometric Trend Indicator
The barometric trend arrow indicates the air pressure trend over the last hour:

- Rising Arrow: Air pressure has increased by 2 hPa or more in the last hour.
- Stable Icon: Air pressure remained stable within 2 hPa in the last hour.
- Falling Arrow: Air pressure has decreased by 2 hPa or more in the last hour.
4.5 MIN/MAX Records
Press the '▼' (Down) button repeatedly to view the maximum and minimum recorded indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values since the last reset. To clear the records, press and hold the '▼' (Down) button while viewing the MIN/MAX values.
4.6 Frost Alert
The weather station features a frost alert function. When the outdoor temperature drops to a certain threshold (typically near freezing), an ice crystal icon or audible alert may activate to warn of potential frost conditions.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
- When the low battery indicator appears on the display for the main unit or outdoor sensor, replace the batteries promptly.
- For the main unit, replace 3 x AAA batteries.
- For the outdoor sensor, replace 2 x AA batteries.
- Always replace all batteries in a set with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing. Avoid submerging either unit in water.
5.3 Environmental Considerations
Store the weather station in a dry environment when not in use. Protect the outdoor sensor from extreme weather conditions to prolong its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit:
• Check if the AC adapter is properly connected and plugged in.
• Ensure batteries are inserted correctly and are not depleted. Replace if necessary. - No Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Reading:
• Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are fresh and inserted correctly.
• Press the 'CHANNEL' button on the main unit to re-initiate sensor search.
• Reduce the distance between the main unit and the outdoor sensor.
• Relocate both units to avoid interference from other electronic devices or large metal objects. - Inaccurate Readings:
• Ensure the outdoor sensor is placed in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Allow both units to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after setup.
• Compare readings with a known accurate thermometer/hygrometer. - Time Synchronization Issues:
• Ensure the main unit is placed away from sources of electrical interference.
• If radio signal is weak, try placing the unit near a window.
• Manually set the time and date if radio synchronization is consistently unsuccessful.
