4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Installation Steps

  1. Remove Existing Peephole: If an existing peephole is present, unscrew and remove it from the door. If not, drill a hole of appropriate diameter (14-28mm) at the desired height.
  2. Install Outdoor Unit: Insert the outdoor unit (camera) through the door hole from the outside. Ensure the camera is facing outwards and the cable is threaded through to the inside of the door.

  4. Attach Mounting Bracket: From the inside of the door, slide the mounting bracket over the outdoor unit's cable and align it with the outdoor unit. Secure the bracket using the appropriate screws from the screw bag, ensuring it is tight against the door.

  6. Connect Indoor Unit: Connect the cable from the outdoor unit to the corresponding port on the back of the indoor display unit.
  7. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the indoor unit and insert 4 AAA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity.
  8. Mount Indoor Unit: Align the indoor unit with the mounting bracket and slide it downwards until it clicks securely into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

The device typically powers on automatically when the button on the indoor unit is pressed. It will power off after a short period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Viewing Visitors

Press the button on the indoor unit to activate the screen and view who is at your door. The 3.5-inch LCD will display a clear image from the 120-degree wide-angle camera.
