Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required for these nightstands. It involves multiple steps and can be time-consuming. We recommend setting aside sufficient time and working in a clear, open space. A screwdriver is recommended for assembly.

  1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface. Refer to the included assembly diagram to identify each part.
  2. Assemble the Frame: Follow the step-by-step diagrams provided in your separate assembly sheet to construct the main body of the nightstand. Ensure all cam locks and screws are securely fastened.
  3. Attach the Legs: Securely attach the four tapered legs to the bottom of each nightstand frame using the provided hardware.
  4. Install Drawer Glides: Attach the drawer glides to the inside of the nightstand frame and to the sides of the drawer boxes as indicated in the instructions. Ensure they are level and aligned for smooth operation.
  5. Assemble Drawers: Construct the two drawers for each nightstand. Insert the drawer bottoms and secure the front and back panels.
  6. Insert Drawers: Carefully slide the assembled drawers onto the glides within the nightstand frame. Test for smooth operation. If drawers are stiff, check glide alignment and screw tightness.
  7. Install Charging Station: Integrate the charging station unit into the designated slot on the top surface of the nightstand. Ensure the power cord is routed safely and is accessible for connection to a wall outlet.

Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the nightstand surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
  • Spills: Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent staining or water damage to the wood.
  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading or discoloration of the wood finish.
  • Heat: Do not place hot items directly on the surface. Use coasters or protective pads.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Drawers do not slide smoothly or are difficult to open/close.
Solution:
  • Check that the drawer glides are correctly installed and aligned on both the drawer box and the nightstand frame.
  • Ensure all screws securing the glides are tightened, but not overtightened.
  • Verify that the drawer box itself is assembled squarely.
Problem: Charging station is not providing power.
Solution:
  • Ensure the nightstand's power cord is securely plugged into a functioning wall outlet.
  • Check if the wall outlet itself is working by plugging in another device.
  • Verify that your device is properly connected to the AC outlet or USB port.
  • Confirm your device's power requirements are compatible with the charging station's output (125V/12A for AC, 5V/2.1A for USB).
Problem: Nightstand feels wobbly after assembly.
Solution:
  • Ensure all assembly screws and cam locks are fully tightened.
  • Verify that the legs are securely attached and evenly tightened.
  • If applicable, ensure the nightstand is placed on a level surface.
