6.2 AC/DC Current Measurement
To measure current, set the rotary switch to the 'A~' (AC Current) or 'A-' (DC Current) position. Connect the test probes in series with the circuit. Ensure the red probe is in the '10A' or 'mA' jack as appropriate for the expected current level.
6.3 Resistance Measurement
Set the rotary switch to the 'Ω' (Resistance) position. Connect the test probes across the component to measure its resistance. Ensure the circuit is de-energized before measuring resistance.

6.4 Capacitance Measurement
Set the rotary switch to the 'F' (Capacitance) position. Connect the test probes across the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before measurement.
6.5 Diode Test
Set the rotary switch to the 'Diode' symbol. Connect the red probe to the anode and the black probe to the cathode of the diode. The display will show the forward voltage drop. Reverse the probes to check for open circuit (OL) indicating a good diode.

6.6 Transistor (HFE) Measurement
Set the rotary switch to the 'HFE' position. Insert the transistor leads into the corresponding NPN or PNP sockets on the multimeter. The display will show the HFE value.
6.7 Frequency Measurement
Set the rotary switch to the 'Hz' (Frequency) position. Connect the test probes to the signal source. The display will show the frequency in Hertz.
6.8 Continuity Test
Set the rotary switch to the 'Continuity' symbol. Connect the test probes across the circuit or component. If there is continuity (low resistance), the buzzer will sound.
6.9 Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detection

6.10 Live Wire Detection
Set the rotary switch to the 'LIVE' mode. Touch the red probe to the wire you want to test. If it's a live wire, the multimeter will indicate 'LIVE' on the display and may beep.

6.11 Automotive Battery Testing
