3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove the welder and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.
3.2 Power Connection
The MIG-250 supports both 110V and 220V input. Use the appropriate power cord and adapter for your power source. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded and can handle the machine's amperage requirements.
3.3 Control Panel Introduction
Familiarize yourself with the control panel for selecting modes and adjusting parameters.

3.5 Wire Spool Installation (for MIG/Flux Core)
Open the side panel to access the wire feeder. Install the appropriate wire spool (0.030"-0.035" MIG welding wire is supported). Ensure the wire is correctly threaded through the feeder mechanism and into the MIG torch liner.

3.6 Gas and Air Connections
- For Gas MIG/TIG: Connect the gas hose from your shielding gas cylinder (Argon/CO2 mixed gas for MIG, pure Argon for TIG) to the gas inlet on the machine. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- For Plasma Cutting: Connect an air compressor to the air inlet on the machine. The plasma cutter requires compressed air to operate.
4. Operating Instructions
Select the desired welding or cutting mode using the control panel. Adjust amperage, voltage, and wire speed (for MIG) according to the material thickness and specific process requirements.
4.1 MIG Welding (Gas MIG / Flux Core)
The MIG-250 offers both Gas MIG (with Argon/CO2 mixed gas for thin metals/stainless steel or pure CO2 for thicker mild steel) and Gasless Flux Core welding (for portable, wind-resistant outdoor use). Adjust wire speed and voltage for optimal results. An optional spool gun can be used for enhanced flexibility.

4.2 Lift TIG Welding
For cleaner, high-quality welds on stainless steel, use the Lift TIG function. Ensure you have the TIG torch connected and pure Argon shielding gas. Lift TIG provides smooth, controlled ignition, reducing tungsten wear and preventing material inclusion.

4.3 Stick (MMA) Welding
The Stick welding function is ideal for heavy-duty repair jobs, rusty metals, and thick materials. It supports electrodes such as 7018, 6010, and 6013. Connect the electrode holder and ground clamp, then set the amperage.
