5. Operating Instructions: Extending and Retracting the Table

The TerraSafe dining table is designed for easy extension to accommodate more guests. No tools are required for this process.

1. To Extend:
   • Locate the card slot on one side of the tabletop and gently pull the table halves apart along the smooth track.
   • Remove the support bar and take out the inner table board (leaf).
   • Place the leaf into the gap created by pulling the table halves apart.
   • Push the table halves back together until the leaf is securely buckled in place and the tabletop is flush.
2. To Retract:
   • Gently pull the table halves apart to create a gap.
   • Remove the leaf from the center.
   • Push the table halves back together until they meet, forming the smaller round table.
