3.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

3.2. Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the 20W power adapter.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The device will indicate charging status. A full charge from 0% typically takes approximately 3 hours.

3.3. Installing SIM/TF Card

  1. Locate the SIM/TF card slot cover on the side of the device.
  2. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray.
  3. Carefully place the SIM card(s) and/or TF (microSD) card into the tray, ensuring correct orientation.
  4. Insert the tray back into the slot until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (refer to Figure 1) until the Kayoote logo appears on the screen.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Shut down" from the options on the screen. Alternatively, navigate to the Windows Start menu and select Power > Shut down.
  • To Restart: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Restart" from the options. Alternatively, navigate to the Windows Start menu and select Power > Restart.

4.2. Basic Navigation (Windows 11 Pro)

The SH66 runs on Windows 11 Pro, offering a familiar desktop environment. Use the 6.5-inch touchscreen for navigation, tapping to select items, and swiping for scrolling. The device also supports stylus input and wet-hand touch for versatile use.

4.3. Barcode Scanning

The integrated Honeywell N6803 barcode scanner allows for efficient data capture.

4.4. Connectivity

The SH66 supports multiple connectivity options:

  • Wi-Fi 6 (AX201): To connect to a Wi-Fi network, go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi on, and select your desired network.
  • 4G LTE: Insert a valid SIM card (as per Section 3.3) to enable cellular data connectivity. Configure mobile data settings via Settings > Network & internet > Cellular.
  • Bluetooth 5.2: To pair with Bluetooth devices, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices, turn Bluetooth on, and select "Add device."
