1. Important Safety Information

  • Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection system. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool for 30 minutes, then plug it back in. If it continues to shut off, contact customer support.

4. Setup and Installation

The CTSC 4800W Electric Garage Heater comes fully assembled, requiring minimal setup.

4.1 Power Connection:

  1. Ensure the heater's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Locate a dedicated 240V/30A electrical outlet with a NEMA #6-30R receptacle.
  3. Firmly insert the heater's NEMA #6-30P plug into the matching wall receptacle.

Important: Do not force the plug into an incompatible outlet. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unsure about your electrical system.

4.2 Positioning:

  • Place the heater on a flat, stable surface, ensuring proper clearance from all combustible materials (minimum 3 feet).
  • The integrated handle allows for easy portability. The heater can also be mounted or suspended using appropriate hardware (not included for suspension, but the handle can be used as a stand).
  • Adjust the angle of the heater using the side knobs to direct airflow as desired.

5. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

5.1 Control Panel / Remote Control Functions:

  3. Use the Temperature Up/Down buttons (/) to set your desired temperature. The heater will automatically cycle ON and OFF to maintain this temperature.
  4. Press the Mode button () to select the desired heating mode.
  5. To turn the heater OFF, press the Power button () again. The fan may continue to run for a short period to cool down the heating elements.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your heater.

6.1 Cleaning:

  1. Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the air intake and exhaust grilles. Ensure these areas are clear to prevent overheating.
  4. Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.

6.2 Storage:

When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your heater, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
