2. Safety Information
Heavy Item: The safe is heavy (approximately 95.15 lbs). Exercise caution when moving to prevent injury. It is recommended to have multiple people assist with lifting.
Tipping Hazard: To prevent tipping, especially on uneven surfaces or if the door is open, secure the safe using the provided mounting hardware.
Backup Keys: Always store backup keys in a secure location away from the safe. Do not leave backup keys inside the safe.
Battery: Ensure correct battery polarity when installing. Replace batteries promptly when low to avoid being locked out.
Children: Keep children away from the safe and its contents. Do not allow children to play with the safe or its locking mechanisms.
Vibration Alarm: The safe features a built-in vibration alarm. If the safe is shaken violently, an alarm will sound, and the keypad will be temporarily disabled.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the safe from its packaging.
Inspect the safe for any signs of damage. If damaged, contact customer support immediately.
Locate the accessory box inside the safe, which contains the 3-spoke handle, manual keys, and mounting bolts.
3.2 Installing the Handle
The 3-spoke handle is packed separately to prevent damage during transit.
Align the handle with the spindle on the safe door.
Push the handle firmly onto the spindle until it clicks into place.
Ensure the handle is securely attached and can turn freely.
3.3 Battery Installation
The digital keypad requires a 9V battery (not included).
Locate the external battery compartment on the keypad unit.
Slide open the battery cover.
Insert a new 9V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery cover securely.

3.4 Initial Opening with Backup Keys
For the first use, or if batteries are depleted, use the backup keys.
Locate the hidden emergency keyhole, usually behind the keypad cover or a removable panel.
Insert one of the backup keys into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
While holding the key turned, rotate the 3-spoke handle clockwise to open the safe door.
Remove the key and store it in a safe, separate location.
3.5 Mounting the Safe
To enhance security and prevent tipping, it is recommended to mount the safe to the floor.
Choose a suitable location, ensuring the safe is level.
Open the safe door and locate the mounting holes on the bottom of the safe.
Mark the drilling points on the floor through the mounting holes.
Drill pilot holes into the floor using an appropriate drill bit for your floor type (concrete or wood).
Position the safe over the drilled holes.
Insert the provided mounting bolts through the safe's bottom holes and into the floor.
Tighten the bolts securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Programming the Master Passcode
The safe comes with a default code. It is crucial to change this immediately.
With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside of the door.
Press the red reset button. The keypad will beep, and the indicator light will flash.
Enter your desired 4-8 digit passcode on the touchscreen keypad.
Press the "E" button to confirm. The keypad will beep again, indicating successful programming.
Test the new passcode with the door open before closing it.

4.2 Opening the Safe with Digital Passcode
Enter your programmed 4-8 digit passcode on the touchscreen keypad.
Press the "E" button. The indicator light will turn green.
Within 5 seconds, rotate the 3-spoke handle clockwise to open the door.

4.3 Emergency Alert System
The safe is equipped with a vibration alarm for enhanced security.
If the safe experiences violent shaking or tampering, a 1-minute alarm will be triggered.
During the alarm, the keypad will be temporarily disabled.
To stop the alarm and re-enable the keypad, use a backup key to open the safe.

4.4 Silent Mode Setting
You can mute the keypad tones for discreet operation.
To activate Silent Mode: Press "0" then "E".
To deactivate Silent Mode: Press "0" then "E" again.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
Replace the 9V battery when the low battery indicator appears on the keypad or if the keypad becomes unresponsive. Refer to section 3.3 for battery installation steps.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the safe's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
5.3 Internal Shelf Adjustment
The safe includes two fully adjustable metal shelves with 16 levels of height adjustment. To adjust a shelf:
Remove all items from the shelf.
Carefully lift the shelf and slide it out of its current position.
Re-insert the shelf into the desired slots on the side racks. Ensure it is level and securely seated.

Re-enter passcode carefully. Replace 9V battery. Use backup key to open.
Keypad is unresponsive.
Dead battery, keypad temporarily disabled due to alarm.
Replace 9V battery. If alarm was triggered, use backup key to open and reset.
Alarm sounds unexpectedly.
Safe was shaken or tampered with.
Use backup key to open the safe and silence the alarm. Ensure safe is securely mounted.
Handle does not turn after entering code.
Handle not fully engaged, mechanism obstruction.
Ensure the handle is properly installed. Check for any obstructions around the door or locking bolts.
