Setup

  1. Connecting the Cable: Carefully align the 2-pin connector on the M2 headphone cable with the corresponding ports on each earphone unit. Push firmly until the connectors are securely seated. Ensure the cable is connected to the correct left (L) and right (R) earphone units.
  2. Selecting Ear Tips: Choose the silicone ear tips (S, M, or L) that provide the most comfortable and secure fit for your ears. A proper seal is crucial for optimal sound quality and noise isolation. Gently attach the selected ear tips to the earphone nozzles.
  3. Wearing the Earphones: Place the earphones into your ears, ensuring the ear-hook cable loops over the top of your ear for stability. Adjust the position until they feel snug and comfortable.
  4. Connecting to Your Device: Plug the USB-C connector of the M2 cable into your compatible gaming device (PC, console, mobile device). If using a 3.5mm variant, connect the 3.5mm jack to your device's audio port.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning Earphones: Regularly wipe the earphone units and cable with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Cleaning Ear Tips: Remove the silicone ear tips and wash them with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable. When not in use, store the earphones and cable neatly to prevent tangling and damage.
  • Storage: Store the earphones in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the earphones and your device.
    • Check your device's volume settings and ensure the earphones are selected as the audio output.
    • Test with another audio source or device to rule out device-specific issues.
  • Microphone Not Working:
    • Verify the microphone ON/OFF switch on the inline remote is in the 'ON' position.
    • Check your device's microphone input settings and ensure the KZ AXAS is selected.
    • Ensure the microphone is not obstructed.
  • Sound Distortion or Poor Quality:
    • Ensure the ear tips provide a proper seal in your ear. Try different sizes if necessary.
    • Check for any damage to the cable or connectors.
    • If using the USB-C version, try switching between DSP modes to see if a different mode resolves the issue.
