5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: The galvanized metal and PE fabric are designed for easy cleaning. Wipe down metal surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. The roof cover can be hosed off.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, clamps, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Inspect the mesh for any damage or sharp edges.
- Rust Prevention: While the enclosure is rust-proof, regular cleaning and inspection can help maintain its condition. Address any scratches or exposed metal promptly.
- Roof Cover Care: Ensure the roof cover is free of debris. As mentioned, remove it during heavy snowfall to prevent accumulation and stress on the frame.
6. Troubleshooting
- Enclosure feels unstable: Ensure all ground stakes are fully inserted into the ground. Verify that all frame connections are tight and the enclosure is on a level surface.
- Door not closing properly: Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch mechanism. Ensure the frame is square and not warped.
- Water pooling on roof cover: Ensure the roof cover is taut and properly secured to allow water runoff. Check for any sagging points in the roof structure.
- Signs of rust: Although designed to be rust-proof, inspect for any areas where the galvanized coating might be compromised. Clean and apply a rust-inhibiting paint if necessary.
