1. Introduction

The EZIOOV T2B Solar Pool Skimmer Robot is an advanced automatic robotic pool surface cleaner designed for both inground and above-ground pools. It features a dual-power system with solar and adapter charging, app and remote control capabilities, intelligent navigation, and auto-docking for convenient operation. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your T2B robot to ensure crystal-clear pool water.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Charging

The T2B robot is equipped with a dual-power system, allowing for charging via solar power or the included adapter. For initial use or when the battery is low, connect the robot to the power adapter for a quick charge. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.

3.2 App and Remote Control Setup

The T2B robot can be controlled via a smartphone app or the included remote control. Follow these steps to connect the device to the app:

  1. Download the "Smart Life" app from your device's app store.
  2. Press and hold the device power button for 2 seconds to turn it on.
  3. Open the app. The device should pop up for direct connection. If not found, connect the charger and press and hold the power button for over 5 seconds to reset the device to pairing mode, then repeat the steps.
  4. Alternatively, click the "+" button in the upper-right corner of the app and select "Add Device" to manually add the device.
  5. To switch devices or unpair, tap "Edit" > "Remove Device" in the app, then restart the binding process.

3.3 Deploying Anti-Stranding Bars

The anti-stranding bars prevent the skimmer from getting stuck on steps or shallow areas of the pool. Insert these bars into the designated slots on the robot before placing it in the water.

4. Operation

4.1 Starting the Robot

To begin cleaning, simply press the one-touch start button on the robot or use the app/remote control to initiate a cleaning cycle. The robot will then deploy into the water and begin its operation.

4.2 Cleaning Modes and Control

The T2B offers various cleaning modes for different needs:

  • Auto Mode: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans the pool surface automatically.
  • Manual Mode: Take direct control of the robot's movement using the app or remote.
  • Spot Cleaning: Direct the robot to specific areas for concentrated cleaning.
  • Edge Mode: The robot cleans along the pool walls and edges.

4.3 Smart Navigation

The T2B utilizes advanced smart navigation with S-Path optimization to ensure 100% coverage of the pool surface. Built-in sensors detect and bypass obstacles in real-time, preventing the robot from getting stuck.

4.4 Auto-Docking and Retrieval

The robot features intelligent auto-docking technology. When the battery is low or a cleaning cycle is complete, the T2B will automatically return to the pool edge. For manual retrieval, simply tap the "Dock" button on the app or remote control.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Filter Basket Cleaning

The T2B is equipped with an XL filter basket with 180µm micro-mesh filtration to capture debris. Regularly clean the filter basket to maintain optimal cleaning performance. To clean, remove the basket, empty collected debris, and rinse thoroughly with water.

5.2 Propeller Cleaning

Periodically check and clean the propellers to ensure smooth operation and prevent blockages from hair or small debris. Gently remove any obstructions.

5.3 Chlorine Dispenser

The integrated 3-inch chlorine dispenser allows for consistent water treatment while the robot cleans. Insert chlorine tablets (not included) into the dispenser as needed to help maintain water clarity and balance.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your EZIOOV T2B robot, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Robot not moving: Ensure the battery is charged. Check for any obstructions in the propellers or wheels.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Clean the filter basket. Ensure the robot is operating in an appropriate mode for the pool conditions.
  • App connection issues: Refer to Section 3.2 for app connection steps. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the robot is in pairing mode.
  • Robot getting stuck: Verify that the anti-stranding bars are correctly installed.
