4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Frame Assembly

4.2 Wire Mesh Installation

Unroll the dip-coated hexagonal wire mesh and attach it to the assembled frame using the provided zip ties. Ensure the mesh is taut and covers all open sides of the frame to prevent escapes and deter predators. Overlap edges where necessary for added security.

4.3 Door and Latch Installation

Install the walk-in door into the designated opening in the frame. Attach the escape-proof door latch mechanism, ensuring it operates smoothly and securely closes the door.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Animal Placement

This coop is suitable for 8-12 chickens and can also house ducks, rabbits, geese, quails, cats, and small dogs. Ensure the number of animals is appropriate for the 13x10 ft (130 sq ft) space to allow them to roam freely and comfortably.

5.2 Daily Use

The walk-in design (5.5 ft height, 2 ft width door) allows for easy access for feeding, watering, and cleaning. Always ensure the door is securely latched after entering or exiting to prevent animals from escaping and to protect them from predators.

5.3 Predator Protection

The dip-coated hexagonal wire mesh (0.9mm thickened steel wire) and secure latches provide strong protection against common predators. Regularly check the integrity of the mesh and latches.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Regular Cleaning

Clean the coop regularly to maintain a hygienic environment for your animals. The wire mesh can be hosed down, and the cover can be wiped clean. Remove animal waste and old bedding frequently.

• Wire Mesh Sagging or Loose: Re-secure loose sections of wire mesh with additional zip ties. Ensure the mesh is pulled taut during installation.
